Swallows....Speedy little fellers!

Up to the Valley for Jim's birthday get-away with an added bonus of a  swim at the canal.

 Do you see the swallow?

             I'm
intent on
my swim
and
fetching.

There
maybe
swallows
nearby,
but
you know,
we
both
know
what
we are
focused
on!

~~~The swallows were everywhere~~~
~~~above us~~~

~~~and swooping below us~~~
These swallows can not distract me from my bull's eye .
These swift beauties know that the mosquito/bug/fly situation is perfect here.
So nothing will distract them from their dance either.
Everything has it's own dance!
  1. You looked like you were having fun! Yes, the swallows are so graceful in flight and help with keeping the bug population down! They gotta eat a whole lot of bugs!
  2. What a beautiful day! And look how focused you are!
  3. Love the ripples!!!
    And what a beautiful area, you live in!
    Protein powder from hemp. Wow, but doubt I could find it around here. Had a hard enough time finding the one I use. Actually, just use the Pasteurized Egg Whites they sell in cooking section of grocery store. :-)
    You can't tolerate lactose or soy. Bummer! I've been using soy for some time and it's fine.
    Coconut Milk is good too, but lots of sat/fat I think. Something, which precludes it from my diet. Bleahhhhhh...
    Your dad is 95, and I betcha' he eats what he pleases!!! -grin-
    But for me, the *not-being-kind-to-my-insides* is enough to keep me from lactose and gluten. There's nothing like pain/discomfort, to make giving-up something *easy*! lol.
  6. We see lots of barn swallows in our barns, Sophie, and we also see purple martins that divebomb our pond looking for bugs to eat! They are such graceful birdies!
    Love ya lots,
  7. Please tell me that's not your house in the last picture. You must tell me this so I don't e-mail you from the airport nearest your house to ask you to pick me up!!
    Beautiful!!
