Detective Work in the Meadow

Nearby there are many meadows and the clover is healthy and vigorous...definitely flourishing.
I'm searching for the one thing that brings a cheerfulness to my gait.
Up the tempo as I zero in on that one thing.
Distractions in a meadow are to be expected.
I know plenty of my friends have traveled this route.
They say my sniffer is a super sniffer.
Some peeps get a bit upset when I use my sniffer too much around them.
That's just what dogs do....sniff...detective work requires sniffing.
 Ask any good detective...
Hey, I think I found what I was looking for....
just through these grasses over the rocks and I'll show you.
~~
Next time
see you then!

  1. The water would have distracted Stumpy from what ever she was focused on! Last one in is a stinky ol' cat!

    ^5 Sophie!

  2. What a gorgeous spot! There is nothing like a good sniff, that's for sure. If I am ever missing something, there is no one I'd rather have on the hunt than a dog like Sophie!

  4. What a great find! Keep sniffing to see what you'll turn up on your next walk. But, watch out for those nasty bees when you walk through clover. My Maggie got a bee sting in the mouth and it wasn't fun.

Stopping by on the blog hop today -have a great 4th with your furry friends.
