BUMBLEBEE & SPIDER

The grasses and flowers are so tall this year
that you can barely see me
as I forage
for tender grass shoots.

A quick romp across the sand to catch my companion
a shake off
and ~~

back into the jungle again.

These mini-daisylikes are very few
along my trail
but I sniff them anyway.
Could be edible!
Alas, not the case.

 How ever this is what I wanted to show you!
BUMBLEBEE vs SPIDER
(have a look at the video to see what happens)

such SPEED!

Next time you are in town ,
I'll personally show you around
and
protect you from those nasty spiders.

DO YOU HEAR HER?? I DO!!!

Seriously!
Just lean your head
a little bit to the right
there
listen quietly
and
click on the video!

Those hills are alive in my Doodle Imagination!
I could wander around here for the rest of my days!
How about you?
Do you have a favourite spot to get lost in?

HEATWAVE ♫♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♥

~ Our heatwave together ~

Yesterday was our 42nd anniversary.
42 years on the wing
soaring very quickly
'so full of joy and sadness'
This is our life
~ ups and downs and all arounds ~
like no others
because
quite simply
this is the path we chose.
~
The ebbs and flows of our life together
carving many stories
which mean so much to us
may bore the reader
(then again may not)
~
We have always maintained that telling the truth
sharing your feelings
 and
troubles
helped maintain a long relationship.
~
So here we are 42 years later
not suffering from a heatwave
but living in a heatwave
of love & respect
and
above all
DANCE!

EACH TO THEIR OWN

 ~~~ as the saying goes ~~ ~
FIND YOUR THRILL IN LIFE
like these people soaring above on the wind currents
look what Jim found in the grasses
why it's little ol' me
with a new haircut
and
finding
MY THRILL IN LIFE,
~ any guesses?
I'm sure you know exactly
what turns
MY DOODLE CRANK,
if your have been following
MY DOODLE ANTICS
over the last 5 years ~~~
See
as I said,
"EACH TO THEIR OWN"
(Mr. O is safely tucked away in my jaw)
MY SWEET SOUL SISTA, JESSIE!!!!
Today was one of those days
one of those unexpected days
of mixed emotions
and
of a long awaited decision making
(12 years to be exact).
~
So we headed down to the river
at our very, favourite spot
which uncannily was
JESSIE'S
favourite spot to swim.
Jessie was my
SWEET SOUL SISTER
who
 LOVED
my guys like I do
and
LOVED
to swim in this spot along the river.
 Stories have been bandied about
that she was so well-trained
so obedient
so lovable
so short-haired
so on the ball
lived to be 14
that it took quite a few years
to get to this point
of closure.
The handmade
hand painted container
was pried open.
The bag inside was untied
and
the tipping began ~~
Jessie's ashes were being spread
at the exact spot where she would enter the water and swim.
Sometimes she would stay in the river
and
float down stream
arriving safely along the banks
not far from this spot.
Jim and Jessie
were an item
just like
Jim and myself.
 Jessie will forever be a part of her river and rocks
as the tide flows out to sea ~
So to keep the tradition moving along
I swam out into the river
to save
Mr. Orangie
and
feel Jessie's presence ~~
We finally did it Jessie!
You would be so proud of us!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~ DADDY JIM!!!
You should see what I got for Daddy Jim's birthday?
I am sure  the BIRTHDAY BOY will let everyone see
what is in the envelope
and
three packages!
Colours, all kinds of colours
just make us all much more cheerful,
especially little ol' DOODLE ME.
I get all squiggly and squirmy!
So everyone wish Daddy Jim a mammoth
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
because he is the best,
as many of you already know from reading his blog
(hop over and tell him your true feelings!)
HAPPY CANADA DAY #148 !!
Refreshing moment on the way home the other day
sitting
soaking up the view ~~
 the waves crashing on the rocks
a perfect east coast example
of my Canada!
lost in the fields
inhaling the sweet smells of new grasses
a fine abundant amount this year ~~
short and sweet
is my message today
~~~
We all wish you a Happy Canada Day
where ever you live in this blog world of ours!!
