ANYONE FOR A SCHOONER !?!

Right now I am in 7th heaven!

This is SCHOONER!

My new boyfriend

Confidante

Argentine Tango Partner

and 

A Youthful Doodle

who completes me!

I am teaching Schooner how to manoeuvre

since he is all of 16 months 

"fixed"

which apparently doesn't 

curb your enthusiasm. 

As you may have noticed my gorgeous hair has been sheered off

"to within an inch of my Doodle Life".

I personally feel better 

because this passed summer was so unnatually hot and humid

many "hot spots" and "lady itchies"

thus the short hair.

Don't you just love our connection!

It's as though we were meant to be together

FOREVER!

All kidding aside ~

this was a moment to remember 

a moment which brought me screaming back to my youth

a moment of sheer doodle bliss

Doodles play in a certain fashion

and 

I know exactly how to do this.

Funny thing is so does SCHOONER!

It's in our DNA!

ROUGH-HOUSE & NOT SO MUCH

As you must have deduced,

 I LOVE to ROUGH-HOUSE!

Give me a ball in Daddy Ron's hand

or

a 5 month old chocolate lab

neither, n'eye'ther *¨*•♫♫♪

I will have them running like mad

in no time flat!

However when someone's Birthday comes round

and gifts start appearing from out of the blue,

then I settle down 

instantly!

Ron's brother Mike and his wife Susan

sent this beauty of an adult colouring book

all the way from Edmonton!

Colour plates of beautiful plants housed in the Kew Gardens in London, me thinks!

One side of the open pages is the completed picture

leaving the other side to be coloured at will

or exactly as shown on the left side.

 Also, Daddy Jim gave Ron an etching of a tree 

done by Judith Brannan

a local artist

who is the mother of Jim's shop friend Amy.

He told me that trees have captured his imagination all his life,

but really time is fleeting 

and

my world is 

of the moment ~~

as I told you!!!

OF THE MOMENT!!

JUST LIKE ME

Hi, do you think it's windy enough for me

high on the hill today?

I'll just scoot down here where the wind drops off a bit ~

and zip back up because I can't allow the humans 

to get too far away, you know.

OK follow me ~ 

look there's a surfing human 

catching a pretty good wave.

I'll just see if I can figure out 

what has been left 

on the grass for me

while SURFERHUMAN

waits patiently below.

I really like being high on the hill

no matter where I stand 

and 

I do have a lot of vantage points ~~ 

which I have pointed out over my time here in blogland.

I always like to see colour

as is the case of this surfer with a red board 

heading back to the truck

which has a blue board on top.

The grey waters and sky always

assist in making  the colours come alive,

just like me!

what would seem to be a camouflage technique

DOODLE DANCING

is our specialty

and usually ends up with the pawticipants

panting and pretty wiped out!

Hey look it's MR. ORANGIE!

(the human version)

Ozzie's Dad is mighty cool,

and because he's so friendly

I'm going to set things straight

with a lick and DOODLE BOUNCE or two or three!

Dancing with Jim!

I'm over the top excited with my Summer cut

and a quick dance with Jim

is all I need to put the icing on the cake!

You'll see how teasing Jim has become my forté!

With the 4 Step under my belt

it's time to mosey on along our trail

that has become quite a ritual

these passed 6 years!

Down the grade to the water's edge for a dip ~~~

you will see 2 lobster boats 

 just returning from

a day hauling traps.

Notice my tail!

It's super bushy!

I'm going to grow a major, attention-seeking, dusting wand

in the next 4 months.

No 'skinny minnie' tail for me this time!

The spring water was gushing 

in my favourite drinking hole, today, too.
