ACE + SOPHIE = FULL HOUSE

Halloween Friday afternoon

bright, blue skies, fresh air

ACE, Brynn's new puppy comes to visit for the 1st time.

The thing is I'm at daycare down the road so,

they came to pick me up 

and I felt it was my duty to welcome them all.

Brynn and Ace were heading for the corralled pasture ~

continuing on ~ Brynn and Ace had their eyes on Topaz and Tony.

start them young and you'll have a well-rounded doggy!!

We headed for MacDonald Hill after leaving day care.

ACE had never been here before so,

I did the obligatory intros and discussions of vistas then,

played uncontrollably while holding Mr. Orangie.

ACE is one active pupster,

just like me 7 years ago.

(leave me alone I just played super hard all day from 9 am to 4pm

with many doggies ~ I'm zonked)

All in all ACE put a smile on everyone's face including mine

when Mr. Orangie managed to slip out of my mouth

and

ACE tried to pick it up.

MASSAGE TIME

Over the passed 7 years of my Doodle Life
I have gotten to know Laura
who works at the Three Dog Bakery nearby.

Well, recently she informed us that she is in the middle
of a massage course for animals.
HELLO, SAY WHAT ? !!!

She asked my Dads if she could use me as a guinea pig.

Excuse me I'm a Doodle Pig !

But for this time being I can be whatever she wants me to be.

Don't you feel relaxed already?

I am in DOODLE NIRVANA, seriously !

Even my TOE-TOES were manipulated,
needless to say I am more that happy with this relationship.

AT PEACE IN SO MANY WAYS

Sitting peacefully along with 12 other seagulls

at Point Pleasant Park one day last week

this capture says it all

~ how solemn, relaxed and serene ~

it made me feel 

after my sojourn through the trails

I saw this fellow 

high, so very high 

up in the air

relaxed bending over the edge of the structure

without a care of falling.

How can some people manage this 

while I would be glued tight to my guys legs.

  

The art of riding a bicycle

nothing like it

Your body, mind and soul

fall into line

and 

the 2 wheels draw you along.

I guess using your imagination

helps tremendously

when you come across situations like these.

Just by letting your fingers to the walking ~~

as the old advert says

and

a new peaceful world will open up to you and yours.

There is a reason why my 2nd name is LICKER!

The technique that seems to be innate is.......firstly....stare with major intent!

2nd...fake a good yawn....!!

3rd.....move in with swift abandon and use your paw always!

4th...continue slurping, and since Jim's Dad has dubbed me "The Licker"....never stop unless the human's face is completely cleaned!

Then, lastly, curl up in a ball and fall fast asleep to be awaken refreshed and ready to start all over again!

Beaches are my passion......

I am beyond myself as we jump into the car and head for one of the three beaches close to home. Which one are they taking me to this time? I don't care as long as we get there. Why do these trips always seem to get longer. I know it's only 5 minutes away but come on.

So you see I just get so beyond myself with licking anticipation. Just give me a ball and I'm happy. Later......

SOPHIE'S HERE....!

Listen up.....I came into the world on Feb 2, 2007 and have been a complete joy for my two daddies...they will attest to this without any prodding or licking.

I am a darling chocolate labradoodle. I'm sweet, kind-hearted and 'oh so' loving. These daddies are in for a real treat, once I get through my first 3 years(snicker).

My first trip to the beach was on a cool and windy day which forced us into the tall grasses. I proceeded to attack with gusto...my tongue is in licker mode and I needed to get started.

Now that I have charmed the guys, I will proceed to reel them in hook, line and sinker.
