MY FIELDS OF "GOLD"

"get back here,
that stick is mine"

Minerva has my stick!
Albus (aka Elvis) is on my tail literally
trying to snag the stick
as we leap through the fields of heather.

Speed is our friend today!
The fact that we are Poodles
we are driven by the same higher being!

With an obligatory sniff
making the encounter complete and satisfactory,
my new friends head off ~ ~

See you guys later
perhaps we'll meet up again in
these Fields of Gold
(in my eyes at least)

Fort Needham Romp!

On our way to Jim's, Aunt Annabel's
for tea and sweets, we decided to stop off at Fort Needham
for a quick romp and ball-sharing foolishness!
We met Booth....a Rotty/Staff mix,
and Olive...a Scottie
and Stanley...standard Poodle.
A lot of canine sniffin' went on.
Olive kept up to us, even with the stick in her mouth.
"No way are those taller dogs going to leave me out of this"...I heard Olive say many times!
Booth kept stealing the ball.
So needless to say....I had to keep an eye on him.
Wasn't going to lose another orange ball at those $$$.
Stanley was a sturdy Poodle
and was kinda pushy with his domination antics.
I just gave him the evil eye every know and again.
It worked a bit but he was bound and determined to win me over....
Near the end, after a lot of running and tackling
we congregated around Ron.
We needed to head off because Annabel was waiting
with sweets and tea....perfect ending to a perfect romp!
While I slept in the car....
This is what the guys were doing at Annabel's.

Shubie dubie doo!

Shubenacadie!
(shoo ben ack a dee)
Say that 5 times fast!
Ready, Set, Go!

This is a park for everyone!
And in particular, for us puppies, we have our own off-leash area.
It is truly amazing, diverse and huge.

There is a huge lake to meander in while searching for an orange ball.

There are trails frequented by many breeds of puppies
like this Boxer named Hugo who is one big wiggler!

and this St. Bearnard puppy(sorry forgot the name)...
who wanted to run and play with me so much!

Now running into this Chocolate Poodle
brought out every ounce of Poodle in me.
It's amazing how we run the same,
dance the same
and hold the ball the same.

See how we work(play) together.
This... I find amazing, especially when it all clicks in.

At the dog beach, I found 2 friends who wanted to run and dive after
the stick and my orange ball.
Check out the size of that stick!

Into the water without a single thought of temperature....
just to get the ball first.

I see you looking.
Yeah... I know my friend got the ball.
Not for long though!

After this good walk and swim,
we found a canal
with ducks swimming around.

and this pond was near our parked car with more ducks.

So calm and carefree...

I hope you enjoyed my lengthy sojourn at Shubie Park.
I'm so excited because I may go again tomorrow.
