THANKSGIVING MAGIC !!

This Thanksgiving Weekend in my part of the world
I managed to see and smell so very much.

In the park pond these three ducks wouldn't have anything to do with me.
~ everything straight into the air for us ~

This monstrous mossy laden tree
really was an eye-catcher
even for a DOODLE.

Slipping through the side streets of Halifax
is always a colourful treat
and
with so much construction going on
we found new/old homes
"the nouveau riche"
taking over neighbourhoods.
Very exciting I guess!

Then before we knew it we made a visit to Martinique Beach
a good hour and 1/2 drive from the city.
We came upon a busload of kayakers from the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec.
The surf was perfect for them
~ but ~
I only had my eye on Daddy Ron.

~~ SEE ~~
There now do you believe me?!!
Pinpoint DOODLE accuracy for my Daddy.
He is not going to get away from me.

However the moment of tranquility and peace
was sitting in the back seat of the car
as I stared at all these lights
NEON LIGHTS
while hamburgers were making their way to us.

The neon lights seemed to have a magic all their own.

Just like I wish for all of your

Have a magical weekend

from us on our

BIRDS ~~ THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!

Sitting quietly in the car at the park
taking in the view below
knowing that tranquility came be long-lived or momentary

then an avalanche of feathers tumbled out of the sky

landing ever so neatly
on the pavement beside our neighbour's car
the onslaught continued
with grace and beauty
with movement so fast
so precise
that the myriad of birds all sorts
seemed to know exactly what to do
only permitted to feed within a few minutes
almost discussing who's to drop in next
to alight upon this vehicle to receive treats
and delight all onlookers who luckily had their camera phones ready
I reckon this happens daily
with the amount of birds spilling out of the heavens.

I can only say it had me intrigued!
Don't know about Jim though!?!

FEELING THANKFUL

Take a moment for yourselves today, folks.
Find that place of tranquility with your loved ones
or even by yourself.

Spending time close to your best friend

enjoying the connection
the ease of movement
between yourselves

in this big vast world we live in

once in awhile it feels just right to experience the world
by yourself
singularly

to gracefully make landing
without worry or anticipation

to take your pictures
as you see them

and be thankful
for what you have
and
who you have
in your small universe.
~~
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends
and
to all those that feel thankful
anywhere in the world.
