DOODLE HEART & DOODLE HAIRDO TIME

Wandering through the dune grasses the other day my

 DOODLE ANTENNAE 

started to tingle

which meant either 

I was going to visit someone

or

I was going to get a haircut.

Major hugs were coming from the usual suspects, in this case Daddy Jim.

I was so right about this feeling and before I knew it 

we were visiting ~

Mim Mim (Jim's sister) at Mills Brothers again.

She ALWAYS makes me feel super good inside

because I think she has a DOODLE HEART!

She loved my hair cut

just as much as I did. 

We laughed and squiggled all over the place.

I made a new friend there too,

a lady that works with Mim Mim.

I was quite played out after my visit at Mim Mim's clothing and beauty shop,

as my reflection shows while parked near a java joint.

I just plunked my chin on the car window sill

and breathed in the sights waiting for the trip home.

I hopped out of the car as soon as we drove into the driveway at home.

I love to check things out whenever I go away.

My hair cut always takes a day or two for me to digest

just like it does for the people too.

Let's go for a walk out back and head down to Chocolate Lake.

( Chocolate as in 1/2 my DNA ~~~ Chocolate Lab ~~ LOL )

(which apparently was off limits at this entry to doggies ~~ opps )

Oh well, tired and exhausted and feeling super giddy

I sit staring at the nutty humans having a relaxing siesta

eating Fudgsicles and coffee with "sneaky" in it ~~ HUH !?!

MAGGIE & MIM ~ SOME SERIOUS SMILES

I'm always over the top surprised lately

especially when I reached the park

and

within minutes Maggie showed up with her Mom, Mim.

Mim is Jim's sista !

Same smile gives it all away right !?!

Deep discussion while Maggie and I

saunter along waiting for the right moment,

to dive into the water ~~~ soon very soon !

Here we are having a whale of a time.

(No whales were hurt in the production of this video)

Maggie IS FAST !

She has strong paw action and loves to fetch just like me.

Look who has Mr. Orangie !?!

I have Maggie's Yellow Tennis Ball.

One more leap for DOGKIND !!

We really could have hung out here all day ~~~

But Mim asked us over to her house

  for caesar salad with chicken.

Aah, YUM !!

I might add that Mim is a blast and had us in stitches 

for the whole walk.

Mim Mim and Brynn!

Mim Mim and her daughter, Brynn came to supper last night.

Brynn was in London for 10 days and

had plenty of stories for us.

Her first trip over the big pond and 

she loved every minute of it.

They had samosas and Greek salad.

For an added touch,

 they had tea from Harrods.

See...

You're asking..what are these?

Well, gaze upon this....

Put the tea flower in a glass tea pot, et voila!

They talked for ages and sipped the tea,

such a kind hearted gesture from Brynn.

You might notice a wee bit of chocolate on the tin foil, as well. 

Mmm, the grown ups love the chocolata...

none for me though,

not good for puppies.

I guess I'll sit in my favourite spot while they chat.

Mim Mim

You ask who is Mim Mim?

Well, she's Jim's little sis.

 She smiles a lot and is super fit.

Arm wrestles are no problem for her.

I like it when she visits 'cause we always go to the beach.

She is a dog lover and has had many dogs over the years.

Here we are waiting for her,

 while she talks to a dog owner on the boardwalk in the distance.

Not unusual for Mim Mim to talk to anyone and everyone!

As you can see these two get along just fine!

It's always the best time when Mim Mim visits.

As I said I love her to bits!

OK, so she's gone home.

When can I expect her back?

I can't help it if I have to sit in the window,

 until I see her car pull up in the driveway.

She makes me feel good all over!

LIAM...my new and bestest friend, ever!

So my dad's sista Mim Mim calls and she wants to go for a walk on the beach.

SURE...was the resounding answer!

Accompanying her was Kim and LIAM!

He's my new boyfriend!

I know you'll keep it to yourself)

Liam is a Golden Retriever all of 7 years.

He was beyond himself with excitement 

running down the path through the fields to the beach....

Liam stops for a brief roll in the hay!

Into the water full force.
Liam really likes the water and
check this out...

Rolling in the wet sand is like a christening,
a right of passage sort of....

We both know how to swim
and add the ball into the mix....wow!
Liam is fast and I naturally
let him get to it first.

The walk was a complete success.
I said to Liam...come back any time...
