THEY ARE NUTS, I TELL YOU !!!

Hi Maggie !
I can see you in there.

Open the door,
please open the door.

Hi Maggie!
I am HAPPY now !

Let's go for a walk out back and head down to Chocolate Lake.
( Chocolate as in 1/2 my DNA ~~~ Chocolate Lab ~~ LOL )

We are having a ball fetching
tail slapping
super panting
time in the lake
(which apparently was off limits at this entry to doggies ~~ opps )

Oh well, tired and exhausted and feeling super giddy
I sit staring at the nutty humans having a relaxing siesta
eating Fudgsicles and coffee with "sneaky" in it ~~ HUH !?!

  1. You and Maggie sure have fun in the water, Sophie. You look a little bewildered by the human antics - or are you just waiting for a bite of the fudgsicle ?
    Love the header shot!

Mim, I'm sure would have had a little 'you know what' in her coffee but we thought about it too late.

  12. Happy Saturday, Ron! The video of you with the fudgesicle and Mim with the "Sneaky" coffee made me laugh! I'm just going to have to watch it again and again!

I've enjoyed catching up on your last few posts ~ "Rainbow Shaking" is my all time favorite rainbow picture! What an amazing shot!!!! I certainly felt for Sophie when she had to retrieve Mr. Orangie off the slip and rocks!

Hey! I saw Vicki's photo of your Trinity's pink scarf. It's very pretty. I'm still working on mine. I had hoped to find a special one in Hawaii ~ no luck, so after I came out of the hospital, I'd decided that maybe I should knit one myself. I had not knit in over 30 years. I'm on my third scarf. The first one was kind of scary. The second was better. I'm hoping the third one will be suitable. I have to admit though, all those gorgeous scarves make mine look a little sad. It is very soft and warm though. If Vicki does it again next year, maybe I'll be much better or more adventurous in my knitting. Right now it's enough to keep the tension consistent ~ as well as the number of stitches in a row! LOL

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Back Again! Duh! I just discovered on YouTube that I could subscribe to yours and Jim's videos posted there! So now it will be really easy for me to go back and review favorite videos of you three. I may be LD at computers, but I'm going to be brilliant sooner than later! LOL

    2. That is OK Louise, there are loads of things I'm learning about blogger, youtube, gmail, Google Plus etc all the time.

For example: I just, from lack of boredom, redesigned my page again for the Fall. I Ok'd my choices and began scrolling through to have a 1st hand look ~~ I thought the colour for the print on the page might be a bit pale so I went back into the Customizing and it won't let me do any tweaking of anything. Aaargh!! So I went online to blogger group forums to find out that others have the same problem. Apparently one is supposed to go into the HTML offerings and frig with stuff there ~~ I don't think so ~~ chances of messing up the whole page looms over me, so I left it all alone. It's things like this that irk me. They have us using their system and then they make it so tricky to do things perfectly right. Anyway, that's just one thing.
So very cool that you are knitting again after 30 years. Vicki, I believe was in the same boat and look at her now with 300 scarves ~~ so very cool. Keep at it Louise, practice makes perfect and next year I will actually knit my scarf. I was swamped with things this time around so we bought some scarves online!

The rainbow Sophie was fun to take photos of. I saw her shake at one point on the outing and voila there was a rainbow all around her. So, we tried it over and over again. This picture is the best one but nothing close to "the one that got away". Isn't it always that way ~~ I saw an incredible shot coming home the other day of parasurfers preparing for fun on the beach. The colours were unreal, but we were driving ~~~ Ughhh!

    1. Mim is so funny and when she said "sneaky" we just broke up laughing. We actually were non-alcoholic with the coffee and Fudgsickle ~~ LOL.

We had just finished a long walk and swim at the park and I was so tired. Excuses, oh well, no wonder I was giddy! Jim and Mim could have done another trek. I just wanted to slip into my chair and veg!!!

      Salut!!

  16. Chocolate Lake!?!?!?!? Would a full Chocolate Lab be allowed? If so, Shyla is on her way, and she'll bring Sophie as her guest :)

Does the water taste like chocolate?

    1. Good question KB. Next time I'll test it. One thing about the lake is that the water has pale blue glacier colour to it. Have no idea what causes that, but some photo angles are really interesting.

Yes Shyla we'll visit you in the hotel for sure!!

  17. Oh Sophie, who wouldn't open the door to play with you? They'd be nuts! I was thinking of you the other day when I went to Morro Bay to take photos. There was a pretty Lab at the edge of the water - with their very own Orange toy!!! Yes, they have them here in California! I will post a photo one of these days so you can see:-)

    1. OH, please DO Denise ~~~ I think Mr. Orangie has been cloned or something cyberDoodle like that. My Mr. Orangie tends get holes in him and after a lot of chew chew chewing, glub glub he sinks.

      HUH !?!

      What 'appened !?!

This happened the other day and poor Sophie started searching everywhere twisting her head from side to side. Next time I'll take video.
I googled Morro Bay ~~ now I know the area you're talking about ~~ Big Sur CA
