We returned to one of our favourite trails today
a canal which sneaks along quietly from a dam
to a section that controls the water
into the Gaspereau River.
The Goldenrod is seriously brilliant today
and
there is no chance Mr. Orangie
is going to go missing
because I have great Doodle Radar.

The bees were on super pollen pick up patrol.
The sound was amazing,
everywhere.
I watched Jim capture some photos
of the Goldenrod while I munched on a salad.
The cacophony of colours
purple
gold
yellow
greens
all came together
to brighten our journey.
This is exactly how it looked
and felt today.
