HUMANS LOVE TO LAUGH

OMG, it was a LAUGH FEST here  the other day!
Humans really love to LAUGH!

We've been waiting for weeks for the visit of
Louise from "STANDING INTO DANGER" < click for sure!!!
and her equally jovial sister Barb!!!

Hold on tight Jim,
don't let these 2 firecrackers get away!!

Jim and Louise look like the jungle is going to take them to another world.

You know Louise is really the sweetest human being
and guess what? ~
She really does exist.
I sniffed her so it's true!

The smile tells it all.
Not a bad back scratcher to boot!

I have a new toy called Weeser!
Louise gave it to me and
 it squeaks
it's tough as nails
and
never leaves my mouth.
Who loves to play tug-of-war?
Who?

Barb came all fancied up with red toe-nails.
I told the guys that I should have mine down
and they said "OK, Sophie! Whatever you want!"

You know what's magic?
2 Maritime Girls returning home
and
scratching my back!
BINGO!!

I made sure that "before lunch" treats were edible.
I sure wouldn't want anyone to get sickie, you know!
Winks!

But the point of all this is that these 2 love to LAUGH
which in turn got the guys LAUGHING too,
over ~ imagine this ~ whip cream on egg beaters!!

You'll see why!

A good side splitting laugh makes 

BUMBLEBERRY CRISP

so much tastier.

Halesia in the Public Gardens

While Jim took me to see Pops in the Veteran's hospital today,

Ron took a few minutes to do some errands 

and visit

the Halifax Public Gardens.

He was in another world 

with all the bright azaleas, rhododendrons, 

greenery and red beech trees in bloom.

But with all the colour he zoned in on this white 

Halesia - SilverBell Tree

 which he had never seen before.

It truly is amazing we spend so much of the year

in Nova Scotia looking at the white snow

and when spring and summer arrive

he is more attracted to the white flowers and trees

than the others.

My sojourns are going very well,

no treats though because of my new diet.

Pops wasn't happy about this fact.

He tries so hard to sneak 

food to me all the time.

No wonder I perk up

when I'm told we are going for

a hospital visit!

 And no wonder Ron likes these Silver Bells

just look at those dainty flowers

just hanging there.

They really are beautiful.

See what I mean!

A lonely specimen tree nestled in along

the pond's edge ~~ quite remarkable!

 Even this palest of pinkish/white rhododendron 

was no match for the Halesia.

And he loves rhodos!!

Heading back to the car

he noticed the draping trees

with accent of azaleas.

Unfortunately Doodlely Dogs are not permitted

to roll on the grass or even visit

the Public Gardens.

So when the guys have a chance they jump at it.

I don't mind if I can't go,

I have my on Private Gardens at home.

One more hand please!

Just one more!
