so far these foot prints in the snow

prove that Mr. Phezzie is around here for sure 

and this video proves I know what sound they make

but alas I haven't been able to make friends

because as soon as I come whizzing down the garden

SNOW + FRESH AIR = JOY

Yes, you guessed it right my loyal followers

white fluffy powder snow

just enough to get me 

DISCOMBOBULATED!

enough to send me into orbit around the cherry tree

and prepare me for an unexpected trip to my favourite hill

Jim is trying to knock the snow off the mugo pine

so that it will land on me!

Jim headed inside MacDonald House,

it's Sunday ~ his day of work.

Ron and I will just take in this view

and watch the surfers.

This surfer's legs are covered in snow,

as I mentioned it snowed again last night.

 ~ Deep deep snow down the trail to the bluff ~

(Did I ever tell you I came upon a film crew here

a couple years ago,

 so being a friendly sort

I walked right in the middle of things and 

introduced myself.)

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Looky here the snow is beginning to melt

which truly is a good thing 

because 2 months of storms 9+ 

just about frays the nerves.

I heard the humans say.

Really this winter has been a long one but

for me an 8 year old DOODLE in love with LIFE

I can handle 2 months of snow,

since I have my chauffeurs ready 

whenever I need them.

I figured you were wondering how things were in my snowy world!
Well, I awoke to a beautiful sunny day,
but a couple days later this snowy world descended upon us.

WATER IS MY SIGN

Sometimes OCD is a good thing 

because my affinity for water 

is like the CAMERA is for my Dads.

I love water so much that I could live in it forever.

No kidding!

Now when you see this water as we did yesterday at Birch Cove

wouldn't you want to just jump in 

head first or whatever manner you could muster?

Refreshing

Revitalizing

Rejuvenating

Re-Doodling

It's my world.

And nothing better than a romp through sweet verdant grasses

as I shake shake shake

the lake water off my thick coat.

WIND

The wind is what makes me move

makes me so energetic

makes me feel alive!

(and sometimes brings out my stoic nature)

but more often than not I'm hopping

but not so much when I'm looking out the side window during a rain event

yet high on the cliff looking over the Atlantic Ocean I tread carefully

realizing it could be cold rain like recently

or even the wind that slips up over me 

as I duck behind the gazebo at the park

even the frigid wind that slips effortlessly over the frozen pond

on my way to the beach

but most of all

it's the spring / summer / fall breezes

that make me feel calm and relaxed.

Carving out my little path in this world

to share with all of you

just brings joy to my heart.

PEACE TO ALL!

I have DOODLE - VISION like you would not believe.

Jim took me down the hill to the beach for a moment.

Up we ascended the slippery white trail

and

there was my other guy

standing at the end of the guard rail waiting patiently.

I think he was taking untold amounts of pictures again!

Addictions could be worse, I guess!

BRIGHTNESS UNDER THE CLOUDS

The heaviness of dark, overhanging clouds

fittingly describes our world at present.

The light is at the end of tunnel

and

we are heading forward.

My joy is to take care

attend to

care for

help feel better

Daddy Jim's unexpected return of silent migraines

have made us stumble

but

we will survive this obstacle

with renewed vigour

for LIFE !

Mocha "LocaMotion" onto the beach!

Over the dunes we go

...with a vigorous toss of the ball in the air....

 Mocha and I chase down our bouncy friend.

 Snug in my jaw...I headed to the water with Mocha in tail.

 Persistence is a virtue,

I must say.

 This day with the sun shining and the tide low

is turning out to be one heck of a fine jaunt.

 The adults seem to want to talk,

so come on Mocha follow me.

 This is one of my favourite dunking pools 

beside this humongous rock.

Yeah....the sun is shining for a whole day!

 What a fantastic day we are having!

 The sun is brillant, the beach is all ours and I can run forever.

Grabbing Mr. Orangie is my specialty and

 guess what, I'm not totally destroying the ball with every catch.

 Today is the perfect day to rejuvenate the mind and soul...

after a long, wet month of May.

Even a horse took advantage of the low tide. 

 Sniffing the tracks was so easy 'cos they were so visible.

 What you are witnessing is a first with Jim testing the water so early in the season.

 The water is mighty chilly and won't warm up until late July...

 this fact doesn't bother me in the least

since I am a magnet to water and really don't feel the temperature.
