HAVE YOU SEEN MR. PHEZZIE?

Can you see yours truly?
If it took awhile,
well then
now you know what it's like for me ~~

when I smell that smell
hear that sound
and
see that sight

so far these foot prints in the snow
prove that Mr. Phezzie is around here for sure

and this video proves I know what sound they make

but alas I haven't been able to make friends
because as soon as I come whizzing down the garden
WHOOSH!!!
 Off they fly
BYE BYE BYE!!♫♫♪

  1. Still heaps of snow, literally and metaphorically!!! Let Mr Pheasant live to stroll another day through pastures green in spring, and hide in the white of winter.

    1. You have that right Jean.

Mr. Phezzie has the run of the yard along with his entourage of fans about 6 of them last year for sure. We actually drove home one day and found the group scurrying around the front garden and zooming off and away. Too funny! Sophie was quite concerned.

Yesterday, Sophie and I went for a garden zen moment and we started hearing these popping sounds. Alarms went off! I think it was gun shots. This is not the season for that red-necked stuff. We listened for awhile and then continued on with our exploring.

      Such is our world!

      HUGS!

    1. March is our transition month so we always expect Mr. Winter and Mother Nature putting up their dukes (in a friendly manner too)!!

The snow is so pretty today ~ bright blues skies and "fresher than fresh she's so fresh" air ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♫♪ !!!!!

    1. So you do I understand my dilemma ~ sounds need to be confirmed in my world ~ it just might be a non-phezzie incognito trying to pull it's wings over my eyes!

    1. These beauties have multiplied like crazy it seems over the past number of years. so many more than I remember ~ story has it that an elderly gent down my way raised a few of these birds and let them loose because there weren't many around.

      He won!!

  6. Loved the "n Sync video, SD! My favorite song of theirs. Too bad that you couldn't make friends with Mr. Phezzie. Maybe someday! The tropics are beautiful, but right now that snow looks delightful! Have a good one!

    1. Just pretend the ice in your Mai-tais is from N.S.

      That'll help a wee bit!

Now to zone in on Mr. Phezzie once more ~ I heard him again yesterday ~ he's one speedy Gonzales scoundrel!!
