SUPER MOON #2
Hi Folks!
Here we are at 9 p.m. catching the Super Moon!
The second one this summer too!
One more will grace our skies in September so be prepared.
Off to the east we catch a glimpse of the pink trail of folks flying
to who knows where.
Can you imagine being up there and seeing this gorgeous moon tonight?
I can!
Look at me everyone!
I'm "Mr.Orangie-less"!
The guys were all GaGa over the Super Moon
so forgot to bring "HIM" along.
Imagine that!
Oh well, I'll let it go this time
but next month
Mr. Orangie
will be found snuggly
with in my clasp.
We slipped off the hill
and scooted down to the beach to see these two lovebirds
jumping off the lifeguard stand.
I sniffed around plenty and found seaweed and more rocks as usual.
Some people go GaGa over these rocks like you wouldn't believe.
Look 2 more lovebirds taking a selfie.
See what the Super Moon does to you without you realizing.
So with this all under our belts,
we headed back home and this greeted us as we walked into the living room.
Mother Nature!
You can be so beautiful
in such a mysterious way.

~~ ON THE WING ~~
Sauntering slowly and listening with intent
Jim and I head into the park
ending up at the pond
just 5 minutes into the park
filled with
WINGS
flitting every where
this amazing creature with
4 wings
1/2 transparent and 1/2 chocolate brown
the pond water was so still mirror-like
with hundreds of speedy dragonflies
dodging each other and us
Do you see the double attached dragonflies
on the right-hand side with the reflection below?
Such is the speed I was telling you about.
No one was sitting still for our cameras today.
So close these 2 were,
I suspect they were mating
After leaving and returning to
MacDonald Hill
for fresh cool air
MacDonald Hill
for fresh cool air
this seagull soared by
heading across the expanse
into the mist.
heading across the expanse
into the mist.
Wings of all sorts today!
Someday I will fly on the breezes like
all my winged friends!

REFLECTIONS IN A TEAL POND
Now that I have your undivided attention,
have a listen to my video today
it may help to shoo that Monday morning yuckiness away
I told you that you'd feel a bit better
just even if you tap your toes and fingers,
I would settle for that.
This pond at the park has always been slightly off our regular sojourn,
so today we decided to check it out and
it was well worth the detour.
Calm serene reflections
with a hint of a beat.
Come on along and if your sniffer is working well ~~
You just might enjoy my favourite wild heavily-scented Mayflower
Jim does because he zeroing in on a bunch behind me.
ENJOY!
PEACE & SERENITY TO ALL!

ALL THIS BECAUSE OF A CROW ~~~~
One crow sitting alone on the railing
Took off without detailing
That I should be careful on this beach
Because strange happenings not far out of reach
Can bring freezing winds like yesterday's post
Stirring up that ol' Frisky Ghost
That keeps an eye on unsuspecting landlubbers
wishing they had forgotten their rubbers
But alas this time I don't need my BOOTIES
Covering up these blond beauties.

WIND
(and sometimes brings out my stoic nature)
but more often than not I'm hopping
but not so much when I'm looking out the side window during a rain event
yet high on the cliff looking over the Atlantic Ocean I tread carefully
realizing it could be cold rain like recently
or even the wind that slips up over me
as I duck behind the gazebo at the park
even the frigid wind that slips effortlessly over the frozen pond
on my way to the beach
but most of all
it's the spring / summer / fall breezes
that make me feel calm and relaxed.
Carving out my little path in this world
to share with all of you
just brings joy to my heart.
PEACE TO ALL!

FEELING THANKFUL
Take a moment for yourselves today, folks.
Find that place of tranquility with your loved ones
or even by yourself.
Spending time close to your best friend
enjoying the connection
the ease of movement
between yourselves
in this big vast world we live in
once in awhile it feels just right to experience the world
by yourself
singularly
to gracefully make landing
without worry or anticipation
to take your pictures
as you see them
and be thankful
for what you have
and
who you have
in your small universe.
~~
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends
and
to all those that feel thankful
anywhere in the world.
