WIND

The wind is what makes me move
makes me so energetic
makes me feel alive!

(and sometimes brings out my stoic nature)

but more often than not I'm hopping

but not so much when I'm looking out the side window during a rain event

yet high on the cliff looking over the Atlantic Ocean I tread carefully

realizing it could be cold rain like recently

or even the wind that slips up over me
as I duck behind the gazebo at the park

even the frigid wind that slips effortlessly over the frozen pond
on my way to the beach

but most of all
it's the spring / summer / fall breezes
that make me feel calm and relaxed.

Carving out my little path in this world
to share with all of you
just brings joy to my heart.

PEACE TO ALL!

    1. Hi Jean ~~~ yes, the weather is very cranky lately ~~ with rain / snow/ ice / wind ~~ really a typical winter but we are spoiled over the last few years having moderate winter temps to make life bareable.

Sophie is handling it ~~ just OK ~~ this year she has her PURPLE BOOTIES to save her feet!

      YAY!

  2. A warm breeze sounds delightful, but a wind and rain storm not so much. I can tolerate it but my mama really dislikes it. You and I could have a good time in most any weather!

    1. Your Momma is pretty smart when it comes to wind and rain, sometimes us 4 leggers just don't think before we leap.

Oh well, at least we know how to have fun, right!!!!

    1. We were driving home after a good walk at the park, then it began to rain!!

So that's when the person in the passenger seat gets to play PHOTOGRAPHER, they really love the rain distortions.

You should hear them go on and on!!

I'll tell them that you like it!

  5. Looking good, Sophie! You're just full of beans. Love that car photo! And I hear that you keep those boys healthy and in good shape by making them get outdoors almost every day. I mentioned to Jim that he should give you some extra treats. Make sure you hold him to it :)

  13. We are having the wind here too, Sophie, and it's not relaxing! It's up to 75mph, and it's whipping snow crystals everywhere. Your world looks much more relaxing. Beautiful photography, Ron!

    1. Snow crystals!!
We located some in an area 1/2 hour from us this morning. Ron had never seen them before so took many photos. Unfortunately he didn't have his macro lense, learn the hard way for sure. He did get some beautiful pics with bluebird sky and the dark blue lake sky...he'll show everyone soon!
Now the wind has calmed down, it's a good thing because we wouldn't have discovered the snow crystals if it was windy!
