SNOW + FRESH AIR = JOY

Yes, you guessed it right my loyal followers
♫♫♪•*¨*IT SNOWED AGAIN!! *¨*•♫♫♪
white fluffy powder snow
just enough to get me
DISCOMBOBULATED!

enough to send me into orbit around the cherry tree
and prepare me for an unexpected trip to my favourite hill
~ MacDonald Hill ~

Jim is trying to knock the snow off the mugo pine
so that it will land on me!
~ AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN ~
I am too smart for his shenanigans.
Pawlease!

Jim headed inside MacDonald House,
it's Sunday ~ his day of work.
Ron and I will just take in this view
and watch the surfers.

This surfer's legs are covered in snow,
as I mentioned it snowed again last night.

~ Deep deep snow down the trail to the bluff ~
(Did I ever tell you I came upon a film crew here
a couple years ago,
 so being a friendly sort
I walked right in the middle of things and
introduced myself.)
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Looky here the snow is beginning to melt
which truly is a good thing
because 2 months of storms 9+
just about frays the nerves.
I heard the humans say.

Really this winter has been a long one but
for me an 8 year old DOODLE in love with LIFE
I can handle 2 months of snow,
since I have my chauffeurs ready
whenever I need them.

  2. Your words delight me down here, I can only imagine snow as deep as that, the most we have had. EVER, in my life, at any home where I lived, has been a few, maybe TWO, miserable inches. I was so proud, had to phone son-in-law, and brag!!! Well, they capped that with their twelve inches or so, way down in the bottom of the South Island. Beautiful scene across the water.

    1. Don't get us wrong ~ we do love snow ~ however this year it's turned into a hassle and with the "NO SHOVELING DEGREE" across our property things have taken on a new and different angle. I used to shovel for hours just a couple years ago, then it all stopped. We managed to get through most of this winter w/o lifting a shovel but then Mother Nature decided we needed to prove ourselves. I started a mini-shovel excursion one day and handled it sort of OK. The next day again I tried. But before we knew it the storms kept coming one after another. Anyway, at this point things are melting slowly which is a good thing.

Cheers from the Northern Hemi ~ Ron

    1. This was a surprise find when downloaded recently. The original photo is quite pale but with a tweak here and there well, you can see what came of it. I love it too!

  5. Surfing when there's snow on the ground? Are they mad?
That snow does look very pretty but I'm sure you're fed up with it by now. Roll on spring!

  13. Sing! "It's spring again. The birds on the wing again... start to sing again..." It looked to me like Jim was going ice (or snow) fishing in the third photo.

  14. "Enough already" I'm sure that you are all saying. I'm guessing that this will be one of those years when you'll go from winter to summer with hardly any spring! I'm pleased that Sophie likes the snow so much, even if here Dad's are just a teeny weeny bit tired of it!

    1. Hi Craig!
I do believe you are correct. I so love spring particularly the smells / colours / sounds truly it is a marvelous season. I walked around a couple paths I made over the past few weeks and found my feet sinking below the level of my rubber boots. This DOES tell me something! Flowers are not going to show their faces for awhile yet. A pheasant visits everyday and eats vegetation in one spot ~ the only bare spot ~ on the property. I took some pictures but he's a tricky fellow, off he flew.
Oh well, such is our winter of discontent !!

Cheers I hear you are off to Tel Aviv, enjoy your trip!
