OFF TO VET-LAND

All I was doing was minding my own business
snoozing on the floor in the warm spring sun,
when Daddy Jim called the vet.
Huh!?
Why!?
Well, it seems that my left lower lip has a fold.
I blame it on my chocolate lab DNA,
so we are off to have our new vet take a gander at it.
She's a sweet heart!
The lip hasn't gotten any better
so the guys think it's time for another decision.
~~~
So to make things easier on them and me
I decided we should go for a stroll / walk / zen moment
on the hill. You'll see below ~~~
I feel so much better now,
so we are off to VET-LAND!!
~~
Later Gators!!
  1. As much as I don't like going to the Vet Lady I finks your Dads are being very sensible in getting a second opinion and then they'll be getting their minds put at rest and you'll be getting TREATS!!!!!
    1. We switched VETS mid-last year due to unsatisfactory issues.
      We listen to a VET on the radio every month and have for a long time.
      Daddy Ron's light bulb turned on and before we knew it we were on our way to this new VET.
      Best decision we ever made.
      Long drive 1/2 hour but well worth the PEACE OF MIND!!!!
      Psst: my lip has been shaved and now ointment is being applied for 2 weeks then another assessment!
  12. HEY EVERYONE!
    Sophie's lower left lip has a huge fold (actually both lips do) but the left one became inflamed / rashy . We have been applying peroxide and polysporin religiously over the past few months thinking it was getting better, under the advisement of our previous vet ( long story there too).
    The other day I just felt we were not achieving any good results so made the appointment.
    Sophie is doing fine and is so good with the application procedure. Any dog owner who has a dog that has folds (whether on the lip or on the hiny) knows exactly the issue I'm referring to.
    KEEP IT CLEAN ~ our new motto ~ not that we haven't but it will be more in the forefront of our everyday routine now.
    Thanks for inquiring, DOGLOVERS!!!!
    1. Sophie survived all the licking and wiggling she could muster!!
      She is on a 2 week regimen of SUPERCLEANSOLUTION & CREAM in the morning and CREAM at night.
      She's surviving quite well!!
      All the best!
