BUMBLEBEE & SPIDER

The grasses and flowers are so tall this year
that you can barely see me
as I forage
for tender grass shoots.

A quick romp across the sand to catch my companion
a shake off
and ~~

back into the jungle again.

These mini-daisylikes are very few
along my trail
but I sniff them anyway.
Could be edible!
Alas, not the case.

How ever this is what I wanted to show you!
BUMBLEBEE vs SPIDER
(have a look at the video to see what happens)

such SPEED!

Next time you are in town ,
I'll personally show you around
and
protect you from those nasty spiders.

  1. I don't care much for spiders either Sophie although that is quite a pretty one. I thought I's spotted a bear in the long grass at first, but no it was Sophie!

    1. Sophie The Doodle, I am!!

The spider apparently was a surprise when Daddy Ron got home and looked more closely at the pictures. Have no idea if it was a biter or not!
      Didn`t want to find out!

  2. I was a little afraid the video was going to be a horror film, Sophie, but I was glad to see the bee fly away. I've never seen such a colorful spider! Don't get lost in your jungle!

    1. This is the jungle where Daddy Ron got stung last week, so I was being careful (sort of) because who knows that spider might have bitten us too.

Ron said that he had wished he had taken a true video! Next time!!
