HEATWAVE ♫♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸♥

~ Our heatwave together ~

Yesterday was our 42nd anniversary.
42 years on the wing
soaring very quickly
'so full of joy and sadness'
This is our life
~ ups and downs and all arounds ~
like no others
because
quite simply
this is the path we chose.
~
The ebbs and flows of our life together
carving many stories
which mean so much to us
may bore the reader
(then again may not)
~
We have always maintained that telling the truth
sharing your feelings
 and
troubles
helped maintain a long relationship.
~
So here we are 42 years later
not suffering from a heatwave
but living in a heatwave
of love & respect
and
above all
DANCE!

  2. Happy Anniversary . your photo gives off that heat so well. Martha, what a relief to listen to singers when you can really understand the words. May you both, and Sophie, have a great year ahead, and lots more love and laughter together.

    1. Oh thanks so much Jean ~~ Sophie and Jim are trekking around the circular boardwalk at this place while I sneak off and take pictures of hulls of boats. I'm easily amused!
      Cheers!

  3. 42 years! Yowza! How can that be, when both of you are still youngsters of 30? Okay, 31.

  4. Congratulations to you both. 42 years is quite an accomplishment these days but then again it goes in such a flash that I often wonder how that it is possible. We are also at 42 this year and still feel like those silly college kids. Guess that what is the thing that makes it work...humour.

  7. Congratulations - Quite an accomplishment in this day and age. I really enjoy seeing Sophie and her adventures. I dog sit a dear Doodle named Kiana when her mom and dad go away and can't take her. Not often enough for me.

  14. Never boring, Ron! Your philosophy of sharing joys and sorrows fully and honestly together sure has worked for you and Jim. Beautiful photo.. so much portrayed in the way you capture Jim's posture as he and Sophie make there way along nature's path. I wish the two of you more joys than sorrows, with lots of laughter and dancing to sustain you through the harder times.
