Dear 16-year-old Me

Watched this video on the TV
this morning
and
it stopped me
in my tracks.

Spreading the word
is very simple.

If we can spread
the word
about
pretty much
everything else,
then
this should be
very easy.

I have tweeted this,
facebooked this
and
now
am blogging it.

Now it`s your turn......!

  1. Hey Sophie.
Wow, this is an incredible video. I'm going to post right now a link to your website so anyone seeing my blog will hopefully come to yours. Thank you so much for getting the bark out.
BTW: Dogs get this too. My peeps' last dog, a Golden Retriever named Cisco had malignant melanoma as a 6 month old pup. He had the baseball-sized lump removed right away...and amazingly survived to age 14! He was a miracle.
    Grr and Woof,

  4. Excellent message!!!

But they made it too long. Sad but true.

To get a needed message across, they need to surrender to the sad fact, that our attention span has been greatly reduced.

    Sad but true...

  7. Sophie, we came by way of Sarge... Wow...powerful PSA. And so true. My aunt was a sun worshipper as a youth, and is now missing a crater size portion of her leg due to skin cancer. Thanks Sophie, for helping to educate. We will be sharing.

  11. Brilliant. Luckily....or unluckily...we live in a country with the highest incident of skin cancer in the world. We're very aware of protection from the sun. This video is just another way to try to get the message through to young people.

    Thanks.

    White dogs need protection, too.
