My Sopping Tail!

 I'm dry as a bone, scouting out a delicious scent with my buddy.
 You know...dryness is highly over-rated.
 To venture out on to the water with a goal in mind,
 and a quick snap of my tail
 I reach over the crest of a wave to capture
 ~~~Mr. Orangie~~~
 My posterior, my tail, scripts the true meaning of my delight with trails of droplets.
Even in the swim of things, my tail does a swoop with an enormous water trail.
 High in the air, after a good shake, my tail shows you that my adventure in the ocean
is much more satisfying and expressive when sopping with water.
  1. Sophie, you need to be a little closer to your dads when you shake. They'll appreciate it.
  2. That was a lovely picture series, and tale, Miss Sophie. Your tail is, indeed, every bit as expressive as the rest of you.
    Wow, they say we dogs smile with our tails, but we do lots more than that!! Great rudder you go there. Love the pix with the strings of water flying off.
  9. Wonderful photos! I was worried about Mr. Orangie when he was floating all by himself in the ocean. I'm glad that you saved him!
    Our Labs seem to use their tails to help them swim, constantly paddling side-to-side with them. I wonder if you do that?
    Thanks for the ocean sojourn!
