Sophie meets Hart!

Once again, folks, I'm minding my own business,
spending some time in the heather beds at the park,
when, after finding Mr. Orangie, I raise my head...
and lo and behold I meet Hart!
Yes, a basset/beagle mix called Hart!
Personality plus, full of energy and a real cutie pie.
Hart's tongue managed to slip out a few times, some kinda signal maybe.
....but really she was a darling.
We spent a short time together
but I can say it was a rompin' few minutes.
This girl has speed written all over her.

  1. Heart's a cutie.. and to look at her you wouldn't think she'd be all that fast. Glad you had fun playing with your new friend, Sophie. And I love the name, Heart.

  2. Heart is a cutey!!! As you probably know, a "tongue flick" is asking you to calm down... Were you excited to play with a new friend? I bet that you were! Wonderful action photos, Sophie!

  3. Thanks so much for sharing...gorgeous dogs, gorgeous photography! (I'm slightly partial to beagles, so I particularly enjoyed this post.)

  4. Heart looks like a love! I'm glad you got to meet her and play with her. I've been catching up on your blog. You are a speedy one, but I especially liked the video of you. It's so nice to hear you, as well as see you.

  5. Oh what a fun romp!! We hope you meet Heart again. She looks like fun - though her human looks a little concerned...

    Rottie Kisses!

  6. You meet the nicest folk on your adventures!!

  7. I love making new friends. Heart is a very pretty girl. Hope you meet up with her again soon.
Oh and we love the new header photo, those squiggles in the grass are very cool!

  8. Wooooah, Sophie! Are you cosying up to that lil ol' beagle by any chance?!

  9. A brief but Very Enjoyable encounter! Maybe you'll find her again!

    XXXOOO Daisy, kendra & Bella

  10. Heart is super cute!
    Sophie, every day you're prettier!
    We love your new header!

  11. Sophie looks like she gets along with every buddy
    Benny & Lily

  12. Sophie, do you know how lucky you are? When we lived in suburbia, dogs had to be on leashes. And dog parks were dirt lots. Really. I'm so glad you get to play in the heather beds and at the beach.

  13. Hey!
I'm so glad I found your blog, the pictures are adorable! Thanks for posting them! Hopefully see you around the park again sometime soon, I'm sure Hart would be very excited for another play session =)

  14. Sophie - Its great to see your new friends - I am sure you love playing with Hart! (She is a cutie too!) Thanks for sharing your afternoon with us all here in blogland!

This 'DOODLE' is looking forward to your comment....don't be shy...all I do is SNIFF & LICK!
