Birds, Surfers and Jesse Stone

One of my favourite positions is leaning my chin out the back window as we head for the beach.
As we arrived, I noticed this sign which has become very popular over the passed few years.
It meant a film was in progress nearby.
...Nothing but a floating ball in the surf...
...Two dedicated surfer chicks with a flock of birds dive bombing the waves for food...
...The sun illuminating one cliff and not quite reaching the other...
...One successful attempt with a wave...
...Wave upon wave lapping the shore...
But with no amount of intense scouring the beach area,
did we run into Tom Selleck filming the Jesse Stone series.
Our shoreline is supposed to be similar to Massachusetts.
So if I see him, I'll definitely take pictures
and then post about it.
Peace out!

  4. Hah! Tom Selleck sat right in front of us at the WEG (a very big and important horse show) in Arizona a few years ago. You never saw such fluttering from a group of middle-aged horsewomen, as we tried to be polite and not bother him, while still straining to get every look we could. Sigh, that's one good looking man.

  5. Oh, you don't have to publish this, but I wanted to tell you that I don't know the name of the purple flower, unfortunately. I got it from my Aunt years ago when she said "Be sure to go dig some of that purple flower for your garden, it's a beautiful bloomer." It is, and I guess its name is "that purple flower" in my house.

  8. I don't know if you ever watched the Anne of Green Gables series, but she used to stand in the fields and look out with such a relaxed, satisfied look on her face.

If I lived there, I could see myself doing the same thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like one of the most peaceful places ever!

  16. Hey, Sophie. Another thing we both like to do--sniffin' air. Nothing better when you're stuck in a car!

We've enjoyed the Jesse Stone series--it's always interesting to hear where movies/TV shows are shot. "Leverage" is filmed in Portland, but appears to be based in Boston. Go figure...
