  2. I remember when we took a trip to Bodega Bay Calif, where 'the birds' was filmed, and I was terrified to go anywhere or sleep. I spent the whole trip in the cabin!

    1. I can understand M&M ~~ keeping your heart where it's supposed to be is much healthier than swallowing it in near fright! I had seen the song since 1963 and it still gives me the heebie jeebies!!!!

  13. Love this post, Ms.Hitchdoodle! And yes, I did see the movie in Al Whittle's Acadia Theatre in Wolville in Grade 8 ~ with my brother Roy. We were rolling in the aisles laughing at the thought of birds acting this way! But we still had plenty of thrills and chills watching the show. Is there anyone who wasn't screaming, "Don't open that door!" LOL! Thanks for the memories! Awesome photos by the way!

    1. "THAT DOOR" ~~ no, NOT THE DOOR!!!!!!!

Poor Tippi, she really should look into a new hair stylist!

The theatre was the best, wasn't it! It is now 2 venues divided in half, like they did with all the large cinemas years ago. Haven't been to a movie there in a very long time!

  14. Wow, and you thought we were scary on Halloween! Why do they always open the door????

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Very good question ~~~ the DOOR ~~~ everyone has to see what's on the other side ~~~ if only we could see through the door ~~ not to happen I guess. There wouldn't be any more suspense if there wasn't a DOOR!!

  15. Love those bird shots and the water landscape in that light looks so much like Sweden.

    1. I do believe we were attached to Sweden at one time perhaps a few million X 5 years ago, no doubt.

We have plenty of short trees and rocks everywhere. So happy we have a similar connection, IngerDoodle!!

  17. Watch out for your lunch. When I was in California the birds were not afraid to snatch it right out of your hands!

    1. No respect, at all, those pesky feathered friends of ours!

You know what I'd snatch it out of your hand too, if I could.

    1. Hi Pat ~~ this moment seemed to evolve from one into another ~~ the birds swooped into the trees, I looked down the waterway and then Sophie trotted into the water.
Great effects from nature, just seemed to work!
