EVEN JUST A BIT OF "OODLE"

Just as I snuggled into the front seat
on the passenger side
getting ready for
my 1st Doodle Driver Training lesson ~~~

I peered out the window and noticed this Doodle tied to the tree
waiting patiently for Mr/Ms human to come out of Starbucks.

Doesn't seem fair
because it's beginning to rain
and I mean rain ~~~

see what I mean

I am kind of worried about my DoodleFriend ~~

the sun is going down and the streets are wet and messy

I always worry about my Friends,
no matter if they have a bit of
"OODLE"
in them or not!!

  1. We feel sorry for that Doodle, too. Hope the peeps didn't linger over their coffee!

Getting wet when you swim is totally different from RAIN.

    1. Hi Ho Daisy, Bella & Roxy ~~~ so HAPPY to see you again after the 3 weeks VACAY!!!

Yes, RAIN is very much different than the lakes and ocean water. I sure hope my DoodleFriend didn't hang out there too long. I had to go home which was 1/2 hour drive on a good day!

    1. Hi Jill, we had to drive home so I can only HOPE that the owners were just dropping in to purchase a coffee/tea/beverage and then heading home!

  6. I thought Doodles LOVED the water? Even if it's from the sky, not the ocean?

    1. Doodles seem to put on a good show when it comes to water,
but you know we have run into Doodles in the park that don't like to get wet!
      What's that all about !?!

  9. Spot on post, Sophie and Ron! What a compelling way to make this point, Ron ~ beautifully done. I always worry that someone will snatch the tied-on dog ~ among other things. Here it's likely to be more sunstroke than soaked by rain. But you see this everywhere. Also things like dogs being dragged about to watch a big parade in the heat, or dogs riding in the back of a pickup truck on a freeway in the heat, and, and, and… It's wonderful to see a dog so well taken care of as Sophie. Humans have an unreal ability to make dogs and so many other critters suffer. Kuddos on this evocative post!

    1. Oh LouLouDoodle !!

How sweet of you. Sometimes a moment in time just morphs into something unsuspecting and in this case the need to be kinder to one's pups and show them respect!
I just posted another story dated Friday by mistake. Have you every posted 2 posts in one day?
Speed-typing will do that to me!

    2. I wish! LOL! I'd be happy for a consistent two posts/week! If only I didn't have to do all these other things! We just got back from another great evening at Parkway. I wish I could focus on that holiday To Do list! Have a good weekend!

  10. I hope being a Doodle, that doggie could handle the rain, but you are so right, it's just not FAIR. I don't like it at all. We are having a huge rain storm here, so bad Samson refused to go outside last night to do his business. And you know how much fur he has. Fortunately no business left in the house overnight. You are such a good Doodle, Sophie.

  13. Hey gorgeous! It really was raining, wow. My mama would never leave my side let alone tie me to a tree. She would be so afraid someone would steal me away.
It's raining here today on top of all our snow...what a mess we have now!

I don't think I've ever been left alone tied anywhere. Just the same as your Momma, don't trust anyone!1

    1. I suspect the owners walked out of the cafe as soon as we pulled away.

Some times rain and cool temps just aren't friendly for dogs!
