SPRING REFRESHMENT

The autumn colours are hanging in
along our path today.

You know humans have this ability to open their mouths
and words pop out ~~ and guess what I know exactly what they mean.

Even though I could smell the fresh spring up ahead
with my 20/20 sniffer
I played along with my human's comments
"Sophe, hon, do you know what's up ahead?"

Oh yes, I most certainly do!
Fresh water
a quick dig dig dig in the water
a long slurp or 3
sometimes a dunking
and
a head and body shake to continue the walk.

I always feel better after a walk, a dunk
and some re-hydration.

Don't you?

  4. Gorgeous post, Sophie! I'm up to date on your most recent ones now! How surprised I was to see Barb commenting! She will just love you I know! Peeps know I'm coming to NS this summer, so no need to keep mum. Ron sure looks like his dad! What incredible photo's Ron shared ~ a lovely tribute. We were up in the mountains on Remembrance Day. I used the Andrew Sisters in a musical I wrote and produced at our school years ago! I hope that you are enjoying a lazy Sunday!

    1. Oh yes, this Sunday is very lazy ~~~ Jim took me to the boardwalk while Ron caught up on things around the house. Now I'm Zzzzzzzing on my favourite sofa ~~ I stole their sofa, you know!
Love the Andrew Sisters so much!!
I was surprised to hear from Barb as well and when she dropped the info about you all visiting well we jumped for joy! Next year is going to be a busy one for us because a blogger friend from Penn. is arriving with hubby. Now that bi-national same sex partners are allowed to leave the U.S. they are planning on taking advantage. May(month) they say...!!
