Sweet Spot of Serenity

With the time change freshly under our belt for a week now,
I figured I'd slip out into the garden and dig up a bone or two.

I use camouflage under this prostrate larch tree
with plenty of ground underneath
to bury my treasures.

No one would even think of discovering
my delectables under these innocent little larch cones.

My bones cache is hiding unsuspectingly near our chimes
and Buddhist prayer flags.

I think I'm pretty clever ~~~

if only I could find them!!!

  3. Larch cone, what a promise it holds there, winter warmth, another tree at some time in the future, and colours deep, nature is wonderful. Sophie, bury those bones carefully. you just cannot hide in the greenery, your tail send the signal " I'm here". Greetings from Jean.
