those are some gorgeous photos! I don't think the frost will slow you down much Soph, although your dads should be extra careful. You know what comes next right? SNOW!
You are so right Joanne ~~ Jack Frost nipping and then Ol' Man Winter with the SNOW!!
Beautiful photos, Sophie! Thanks for sharing them!
Thanks you guys!!
The frost is truly beautiful, sad what it does though. Yep, the cat's water is frozen nearly every morning now - unusual for TN. The pond is still solid ice... If I had skates...
I tell you climate change is doing new and different things to most places nowadays. Our true winters begin in January with loads of SNOW later in that month ~~ fingers crossed that this holds true. One year the snow hardly materialized ~~ YAY!No skates because you know what happened to Daddy Jim!We wouldn't want that to happen to you!
Love the frost. It looks so fragile.XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Yes, very much so ~~ the fragility of frost is so beautiful to behold ~~ kind of fun to breath on it and watch it melt too!
Beautiful photos! We're frost free here yet but I will be looking more closely at the lacy leaves for sure .Thanks for sharing.
That so good to hear, but Jack Frost will be around soon I'm sure!
Hi Sophie - I love frosty days especially when the sun shines too. Have fun crunching through those icy puddles. xxx
Ice puddles are so much fun to test! Will they hold you or will they give way?
Your frosty autumn leaves are just beautiful, Sophie!Love ya lots♥Mitch and Molly
I love seeing nature at it's best ~~ leaves / blossoms / fruit / trunks anything will do with a touch of frosty white!!
You have captured the beauty of the frost perfectly! I have to say, that I'm glad we have had frost here too on several mornings, it has gotten rid of some of the little critters that have become my nemesis's. I hope you all have an enjoyable day!
Those flying critters needed 'to be put to sleep for a long winter's night', dontcha think!?!Jack Frost really cleans up well on that area.I just hope our winter isn't too crazy. All the best!
Grrrreat pics... BUT loved your hair in the first pic most.
My hair is my pride and joy!!
gorgeous photos, and I really loved the photo of you Sophie looking into your gardenenjoy your weekend!
You enjoy your w/e too, Kathy ~~~ I hope it's not too chilly in your neck of the woods!!
we can't believe it actually-we are in the upper 50s right now for a few days and heavy fog in the mornings-winter returns wednesday night though-when it will dramatically drop into the low teens-
Bundle up my friend!!
You make it look so beautiful! Lee and Phod
I try my best, you know!A little glance here and a shift of my gorgeous blond high-lights there!!
Is Jack Frost nipping at your nose too, Sophie?
Very much so, Debra!I know that the snow has arrived in your world!!
Gorgeous! And it can stay right where it is! My mother used to put grapes in ice trays in the freezer as snacks. Delicious.
What a great idea, Mitch!! Frozen grapes sound splendid!!No Frost, for you!!
Frost makes for pretty shots! The first shot makes me want to pat the top of your head, Sophie.
Go a head and cyber-pat me, Pat!!That's a lot of pats, isn't it!!
Looks like winter is on its way.
Brrrr---yes it is but fingers crossed that it will be a mild one.Happy Days to you!!
Yikes. Put a sweater on!
Love these photographs :)
Thanks Ann ~~ I know you appreciate the artistic side of things!!
Brrrrr- frosty mornings are only fun if you can sleep in!! Heading to work is no fun when it's freezing outside--I'm sure Sophie is snug and warm all winter long:)The photos are stunning- ice is amazing to photograph.LoveVicki
Yes, I love to work with ice and the camera ~~~ however on the roads I'm not at all amused. Two mishaps over the passed decade but still not a fan of icy roads!
Oh I love the frosted leaves here! I guess now I have been inspired to maybe one morning rise a tad earlier. Great perspective looking down on Sophie in the first photo.Bark'n About
Isn't it amazing how someone else's perspective helps and encourages your own ~~~ we didn't get too early but any time will do when shade and light are perfect duo!!
This 'DOODLE' is looking forward to your comment....don't be shy...all I do is SNIFF & LICK!
