FROST HAS MORE THAN ARRIVED

At my perch on the deck
I can see what is happening to my garden.
Frost has more than arrived
and is dappling everything
with a white lacy edging.

Even the grapes have frozen.
Ice wine possibly?

Ice in my drinking barrel for sure though!!!

  1. those are some gorgeous photos! I don't think the frost will slow you down much Soph, although your dads should be extra careful. You know what comes next right? SNOW!

  3. The frost is truly beautiful, sad what it does though. Yep, the cat's water is frozen nearly every morning now - unusual for TN. The pond is still solid ice... If I had skates...

    1. I tell you climate change is doing new and different things to most places nowadays.

Our true winters begin in January with loads of SNOW later in that month ~~ fingers crossed that this holds true. One year the snow hardly materialized ~~ YAY!

No skates because you know what happened to Daddy Jim!

We wouldn't want that to happen to you!

  8. You have captured the beauty of the frost perfectly! I have to say, that I'm glad we have had frost here too on several mornings, it has gotten rid of some of the little critters that have become my nemesis's.

I hope you all have an enjoyable day!

    1. Those flying critters needed 'to be put to sleep for a long winter's night', dontcha think!?!

Jack Frost really cleans up well on that area.

I just hope our winter isn't too crazy.

      All the best!

    1. Yes, I love to work with ice and the camera ~~~ however on the roads I'm not at all amused.

Two mishaps over the passed decade but still not a fan of icy roads!
