WATERFALL

This waterfall is in my backyard.

This is an Acer Palmatum "Waterfall" variety

I am very fond of this lacey leafed Japanese Maple because

I cool off under it in the hot humid summers
and
enjoy a respite after running around the yard
during the other seasons.

This is my favourite shrub mostly because it's my size
and will always be my size!!

  6. How cute ~ it will always be your size, I love that doodle girl. Ron, I guess I should have a check in my wallet, it's a good idea. Once recently, all the card readers in our town went down, including the ATMs. Since the stores are 15 miles one way, I didn't want to go home. I finally managed to withdraw some money from the local bank. I remember the first time, many years ago, I heard that in the future plastic would replace cash. It was hard to believe then, but it really had happened now.

    1. Yes, I remember back in the 1990's about plastic taking over and I couldn't figure out how it would be done. Now I know and we are paying for it! So typical, humans think they make things easier but really only $$$ makes it easier.

So good to hear from Inger ~~~ loved your post re: shopping at the nun's place ~~~ someday we will visit and we can all go there!!

Sophie would like it too, she just told em so!

    1. That's my bushy tail which is finally growing back. Sandra my groomer shaved it clean a year ago and man oh man did that tail hurt people when I whacked them. Sorry folks!
It's is full of different colours and stands tall for me.
      I do like my tail!

    1. So sorry Lorraine about the "comment" colour ~~~ I spent some time last night on a "fix a problem site" to figure out why I can't update small changes to my layout. It appears that others have the same issue. It suggests I go into the HTML section and play with the innards of the program, that is not my piece if candy. I just left everything alone. The weird thing is ~~ when I try to change the colour it shows the colour choice actually has changed but when I accept this and preview the page the choice hasn't changed. A bit of a hair-pulling event I'd say ~~ I'm leaving it alone for awhile.

Thanks for alerting me and maybe things will change in the near future!
