Surprise Visit with my DayCare Owners~~~~Smiles!

Jim always has a way of making me smile.
This afternoon he thought it would be a good idea to drop in on Mary and Cathy....
they are the best daycare sitters/owners in the whole wide world...sort of bias I guess.
I got to touch noses with my friend Morgan, an English Setter.
Ron gave him a headlock snuggle...
and Jim gave him a long missed pat.
You see, poor Morgan had to have his front right leg amputated due to an osteosarcoma a couple weeks ago
and he pulled through the surgery with flying colours.
I am so proud of my pal and really was glad to see him being his old alpha dog self.
I was able to meet many new potential friends today,
but I think seeing Morgan was what really put a smile on my face.

  1. Hi Sophie... it looks like you had a great day! Morgan is a beauty and it's so nice that you visited your friends... You look a little tuckered there at the end. Too much playing?

  2. Sophie, your friends are so cool. Love that Morgan...I could hug his neck, too. He looks like he is doing very well to have only had surgery a couple of weeks ago!

  6. Morgan is looking great! How fun that you got to go and visit him, Mary and Cathy. They look like lovely ladies.
I have an English Setter friend across the Street named Basil. He is odd and hates to be touched by another dog, but he love to run and play chase.

  10. We've had our share of Greyhound friends who became tripods due to osteo. It's sad, but at the same time, uplifting to see them rise above and do great again!
