Sophie..The Guinea Pig?

My Dad has quickly gone into editing mode
with the new updated Picasa 3.9....!
So to keep him happy,
I'm the guinea pig,
I have to stand still
or stand in a particular place
or stick out my tongue
or look at him
or just be me!
Phew!!
I think I can manage all that!

This is an edited (boost option) picture of me looking out into cold, cold waters, we had just yesterday.

Same picture altered using the neon option...
There are so many things you can create,
actually the choices are as great as your imagination.

 Now this "tongue..sticky outty" picture
is slightly punched with  the boost option...

then overdone (Dad thinks) with the double border
and lomo-ish options.
Still cute I am...
but a wee bit
jarring.

PS..the latest header has been created through the new system
using a fairly simple picture
overlaid with a water droplet texture.
With the enormous temperature change in the passed couple of days,
the cold snow has turned to rain,
so the new header seems fitting.

  8. Hi Y'all,

Wow that is fantastic. My Human never edits anything. If she messes up a photo, it stays messed up. Don't really think she can figure the computer out enough to edit anything. Wait 'til y'all see tomorrows photos. She focused on the wrong thing! and it wasn't me! Silly Human!

    Y'all come back now,

  12. I love the new header!!!! You have more patience than I do. I tend to just shoot lots of photos with lots of different settings to avoid photo editing on my computer! But, your photos look so great that maybe I should learn...

  15. SHE loves playing around with photo effects, but never does anything with them.

We didn't even notice the drops on the header at first. We had to go back to look. They look good.

  16. Great effects, Sophie! We'll have to tell mom about this new program. She's pretty upset about picnik leaving us.

    Love ya lots,

    1. Please tell her that the new system has grabbed a lot of the options of Picnik, not all of course. Dad was irked about the dropping of Picnik as well. So download the new 3.9 and you'll see the changes!
