Wee Bit Daffy !

The guys have noticed that when it comes to my daffodils....

I am a wee bit daffy about the yellow fellers.

To me they are the sweetest flowers with their "stand on guard for thee" stance!
(just a plug for Canada's National anthem)

What I like to do is to keep them nice and clean.
You never know who might drop in.
The spring rains make them droop,
so just a little lick here and
a little slurp there
and
my babies are
looking spritely again.

There now, I feel that the daffs are ready.

nice, eh!

Now then, if anyone is coming down my way,
I'm ready for you
psst...and so are the daffs!

  1. Sophie, perhaps you are the reincarnation of William Wordsworth. He loved daffodils too. Ever think of that, LOL?

It's so nice as we hide indoors from summer's heat, to be able to enjoy spring as it travels across the country.
