Foggy Foggy Romp

Hi! Everyone!
It's been very foggy in our neighbourhood lately.

Come on up to the top of the hill.

Thick as pea soup, as the Brits say.

I know there's a huge ocean out there.

But you'd never know it today.

Even if I strain and cross my eyes,
I can't see my North Atlantic Ocean.

So, if that's the way it's going to be today,

then a good back scratch and roll

will take my mind off the missing ocean.

Now I feel a whole lot better
and now maybe my magic roll
will make something visible.
Stayed tuned and I'll show you
what I finally saw
...next time.

  5. Wow Sophie, it looks absolutely spectacular where you live. Never mind the fog, you could pretend to be a Hound of the Baskerville for the day!

  6. Thanks for submitting your silly caption at my SILLY SATURDAY PHOTO CAPTION CONTEST today! Yours was so clever!
I love your new header too and I agree that your photo shows off your highlighted "hair"! Love that you kept on playing even in the fog!

  7. Great pics of your sweetheart! :-)

Do you have ticks where you live? When I lived in the north of Sweden I didn´t have them around, but since I moved to the south the nasty little things are everywhere during summer. :-( Hate when they stick to Elsa! :-(

  8. Fog always reminds me of that Carl Sandburg verse...The fog comes on little cat feet.
It sits looking over harbor and city
on silent haunches and then moves on.

I guess we could change that to dogs feet... :-)

  13. We're in Fog season, too. But we think the weather doesn't matter if Mr Orange is there.
