Sophie I love the way the stream zigs around. It is so beautiful, and I can feel the peacefullness.lovetweedles
We have driven by this stream every day for 22 years ~~~ surprise ~~~ and this is the 1st time we actually walked into the woods and took it all in.Hugs Tweedles!Sophie
It is peaceful, but we can hear the cars whizzing by. Glad your dad decided to make a detour today.XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
The beach seekers in their cars ~~ I know ~~~ I tried to video a long enough space without that noise ~~~ no luck!Figured this video would give you an idea of our woodsy area nearby!Sophie and Ron
It's a lovely stream, you live in such a beautiful area.We don't like busy roads either!
We had grow a massive hedge on the front of our property to block the noise of cars. It helps a bit, but would like more quiet if possible.
That's a very fast stream, Sophie. Obviously not a paw dipping one.
I think we'd get very wet, very quickly if we dipped our paws in this stream. Don't think I'll tempt fate!!
Beautiful! I love the sounds of the water. So peaceful and soothing!
This stream was like magic. I just had to video it!!
It's lovely - nothing beats that sound. But now I need the bathroom! BTW in Scotland one of the few Gaelic crossover words widely used is "BURN" for brook. Thus endeth todays lesson!
Thanks Craig for the Gaelic ~~ BURN ~~ we have Gaelic spoken in Cape Breton. I am not at all versed in this language, but we had a songstress and fiddler sing in Gaelic about 15+ years ago which hit the pop charts locally. Ashley & Mary Jane Lamond CLICKEnjoy!!Ron
I enjoyed the video thanks Ron. I don't speak Gaelic, not many people do any more so the language is somewhat under threat. So it's good when a Gaelic word makes it into mainstream conversation.
smiles ~~~ checkmark!!
Great video -- there's just something so peaceful about the sound of running water. And P.S. -- love that stepping stone! Is it in your garden/yard?
Yes the stone is in the garden. We found it about 20 years ago, crafted by a local artisan in the Annapolis Valley. We have forgotten what it means, wouldn't you know. I'll search now that it has me intrigued!
That is peace in the woods alright. BeautifulBenny & Lily
Thanks you guys ~~~ loved sharing it with you!
Ahhhh, the sound of a babbling brook. Nothing is more peaceful!
Sage, you are wisdom ~~ your name says so!!
I need your peace, Sophie.
Take a moment and find some PEACE in my post if it helps your day!!
Love your peace in the woods and the rushing brook.Lick!
Lick back to you too!
I can't wait until I'm big enough to go on lovely walks like you!Annie x
Hi Annie! If you lived nearby I could teach you how to be very careful with this babbling brook. It's quite fast now, but some day soon it will be less hectic and easy to manouevre!Sophie
I think my mama and I must be a water sign cuz we both love the water...in every form : )
Including me ~~ the Water Trio we are!!!
Peace to you and Ron, dear SophieDoodle

Always looking for a stream ~ brook or burn as the Scottish say via Craig above!!
Thanks for sharing your stream - nothing like that here, lol!
So there's not a small mountain stream to stick your toes in ~~~ we'll have to talk to some one about that and get it rectified!!
Such a lovely place,
Great place for rejuvenation!!
