Canal Season again!

The canal was my friend today.
With all the clouds, rain and fog in Halifax ~~~
we decided to make a beeline to the Valley
because word had it that the sun was shining there!

Speaking of beelines ~~~
my antennae were on full force
once I hit the water and began
to swim.

Up and Out!
Water dripping in sheets!
Jim is up there at the top and he'll
throw Mr. Orangie again.

See ~~~ I'll just do my favourite shake
for the camera and then he'll toss the ball.

See what I mean!

(enjoy my short swim across the canal to rescue Mr. O)

Nothing better than a quick jaunt to the canal
to get the cobwebs out!

Satisfaction guaranteed!

  4. That canal looks such a great place to swim safely, with your favourite Dads tagging along. Spring has sprung in your place for sure. Cheers to all from Jean.

    1. The canal is the best place for a walk. Hardly anyone uses it and the water is clean/clear and refreshing. Sophie can slip in easily and get some exercise while we walk along being camera nuts.

Spring has sprung at the canal because everything is earlier there than where we live, by about 2 weeks!

  9. You did a great job of saving, Mr. Orangie. Such a brave girl! Had it been me, he would have had to fend for himself 'cause there's no way I'd get into that cold water! LOL...

    1. Yes Michael Phelps and I would be swimming lengths here if he would only show up. Did I tell you Ron was on the swim team at university. He's so quiet about it. He is like a fish! He also taught Jim to swim correctly and more efficiently!!

Now if he would just improve my dog paddle!
