April Fool's ~~~ You Tell Me!

The other day,
Mr. Orangie became wedged
under this enormous rock
as Ron and I traveled the park paths...

and with plenty of digging and coaxing
I retrieved Mr. O
and
kept him snuggle-tight
well-ensconced
in my mouth.

Then as if it were a revelation
pertinent to this time of year
we happened upon my favourite swimming beach....

and before I knew it I was trudging
through the calm clear waters
of the North West Arm

to capture Mr. O

and safely return us to land

I had my 1st swim of the season and year!

Seriously.....!

This ain't no
April Fool's joke!
You do believe me,
 don't you?

That Mr O gets himself in all sorts of trouble--under bolders, in deep water--good thing you're there to rescue him, Sophie!

    1. I try to be clever when other doggies are around because they have a tendency to snithch Mr. O ~~~ so I'm very cautious and careful.

      Cheers to you!

  6. I suppose we believe you
AS you have pictures at your zoo
But they could be photoshopped too
So we'll keep an extra eye out to be sure it is true.

    1. I'll definitely swim a tea cup/coffee cup if that's all there was left in the world. With the thawing of the ponds and streams in the park, I am able to christen everyone of them everyday now!!!
