Birch Cove ~~~ A New Experience!

Unbeknownst to me (as ususal) ~~~

I was going to be swimming in a brand new place ~~~

you can see the blue waters of Lake Banook  in front of me ~~~

but a surprise of monumental proportions

was being held from me

I asked Jim if there was anything different about this outing

He said "Oh Sophie honey, you'll just have to wait and see. Doodle Patience, you know!"

As we approach the beach ~~
Yes, a beach ~~~ ZOINK!

Well, you'll just have to wait for the next installment!

"Bad"

  2. Patience is not one of my virtues, SophieDoodle, but you give me no choice. That Birch name had me from the beginning, you see, my old country, Sweden, is so full of birches it's amazing. So while you are waiting for the beach, I will be looking for birches.

    1. Birch Cove ~~~ this may be disappointing Inger because I have no idea even if there are any birches. I will check my 800 pics ~~ is that too many!? LOL

Jim and I have never been to this small beach, ever and we've lived in the Halifax/Dartmouth area for decades it seems. So when Him's sister, Mim suggested we go there ~~ well of course we would!

We went back again today and Sophie had another long swim!!

Now I must go and check for birches!!

    1. Yes, KB ~~ the city of Dartmouth is called the City of Lakes so the amount of choice is phenomenal. This lake is called Banook(native word) and this beach, Birch Cove is on the shores of Lake Banook very close to homes. It's great for city people all summer long!
