Nosy, Not Me, it's Gratitude!

"Yesterday is history,

tomorrow is a mystery,

but today is a gift.

That's why we call it the present. "

Today I'm noseying around

sampling the splendour of my world

checking out every last thing that is nose high!

Gratitude is all I have for my friends ~~~

and just like Piglet noticed

"Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart,
it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude."

my fave ~~ A.A.Milne

PS ~~ the 4th picture shows me sniffing a sleeping Jim!!

  3. Sophie, wondered why that photo was so bright!! Guess you gave him the evil eye to say " Wake Up" Lovely flowers starting to bloom in your spring. A. A . Milne's words, lovely. Greetings to all from Jean.

Yes the picture of Jim snoozing on the park bench was an over exposed shot. I sort of liked it with Sophie's body beside. It is very bright I agree, but that was purposeful!

My friend from Auckland visiting Halifax, NS. has arrived back home in N.Z. ~~ 2 wk vacation. Great trip for sure!

  7. Such sweet pictures of you, SophieDoodle. If everyone realized how important Gratitude is, we would have a different world. And, look at that word splendor and notice how much better is shows off what it really means when you spell it splendour!

Ron, I was happy that you bothered to look up where we went on our picnic. Our house is located about 25 miles to the east of there on the other side of Tehachapi, toward Mojave. In case you want to check it out some time.

  9. I'm especially liking the shot of Sophie taking time to smell the daffodils. If she's like Boris at all, it's probably a sign that another animal has just marked t!

    1. Sophie would only hope that that was the case, but alas, no animals visit our garden except the birds and insects. Give Boris a huge hug for us, please!!

  14. Hey Sophie, when your Daddy Jim wakes up, tell him that My Rare One and I went over to visit your Auntie Elaine today at her Mom's place and we saw a cute picture of Jim as a little boy wearing short shorts! Elaine is having a good day today and was not too nauseous.

    1. OK Miss Debra I think Auntie Elaine should spread the LOVE and put JimJim's short short's pic on FB or something, hey maybe even your blog! That would be oh so cool!!

    1. Piglet is one of my faves of all times!

      Do you have one, Ryker?

The white flower is called bloodroot, super white petals and when you snip the stem/root it turns red ~~ thus blood coloured!! Someone told me this!
