To Tease or Not to Tease

The snow gets me all stirred up inside
and nope I'm not giving up my stick!

There's always time for a moment of reflection,
as Ron tries to catch me.

He just can't catch me
because I'm SuperDoodle
faster than the speed of light....!

nimble as an  'al dente' noodle,
but not as sticky...huh....whatever!

All I knows is Ron is a Mark...
as in
 an easy Mark!
and I can
click ^^ if you wanna dance!

  18. I loved this post, Sophie, on so many levels! Your video was a hoot, and it was so fun to hear Ron laugh! And that descriptive writing is going to have me laughing for days ~ It really tickled my funny bone (nimble as an 'al dente' noodle, but not as sticky...huh....whatever!)! Your second photo has me vowing to learn how to play with those special effects. That You Tube video and song at the end ~ whoa! I was only familiar with the song from the Hangover movies. Now I've learned all about Pete Burns and the band Dead or Alive. Burn's a little scary at first ~ but I'm open-minded ~ I adjust. He's quite a few steps further out from Adam Lambert who got my vote every time on American Idol! And I do love that song! I never know what to expect from you, Soph!

    1. Oh Louise...Ron wants you to know that the 'Spin Me Around song was part of his repertoire back in the late 80's/early '90's (meaning his aerobics routine material). Ron and Jim were both aerobics instructors for many years and when a fast/catchy song was available they would tape it immediately(yes taped it on cassette!) and used it in their classes of 100+ attendance. They were so busy back then. Actually a few peeps from those days follow them on FB...those were the days all right.
I do know what you mean about 1980's hair style....Freaky Friday! Pete Burns captures that look particularly well. Guess what we haven't seen any Hangover movies...just imagine that!
Adam Lambert certainly set the stage for excitement on Amer. Idol....that one song he sang Mad World...was the best, really it was.
Well, we were supposed to get a super nasty storm but it fizzled...yeah!

My Birthday is on Sat...so do drop by!

    2. Hi Sophie! I didn't know that your dads were aerobics instructors for years! That's impressive. I listened to your Pete Burns clip again this morning, because I love that song! I could definitely work out too it. We live in a "retirement community," and the club always has 50s and 60s music on! I though Adam Lambert could have replaced Freddie Mercury with Queen spectacularly! I really like his music, and he is much cuter than Pete Burns! I'm glad that you didn't get that super nasty storm! Head scratches to you!

    1. Hi KB....Sophie is, it seems, willing to pose and when she does well thanks to Mr. Sunshine her colours just pop. The blonds hairs are quite long this winter. We thought we'd try her long this year to protect her body warmth. We had a very cold snap recently. Only thing is the snow bungs up her toes...ouch. With short hair, there's no toe/ice problem. SO next year we will time the hair cut a little better.
That sea smoke was amazing...wasn't it! We saw pictures on the local TV news from people sending them in to the meteorologist. Very cool effect...so happy I saw and experienced it.

Thanks for dropping by and hugs to Shyla and R!
