My Spring Dance!

This is my special canine maneuver to enchant Spring,
with first, my 4 legs in the air....

Then, a quick chew on the right hind leg is paramount....

All of a sudden, something comes over me and my front legs reach for the skies...

PHEW!
What happened?
I think I was possessed!

Hey, you looking at me?!
There, now, that feels so much better!

  2. Possession? Jack does the same thing, maybe that is the reason, hmmm.

  5. Sophie!

You look like you're practicing yoga.

My Human kinda looks like that when she does some of her exercise stuff. Wait 'til I tell her you do it too!

    Y'all come by now,

  8. "Ooooh the grass! the grass! the grass! I've missed you, grass! Such a long winter, but we reunite at last! Gotta roll in the graaaaaaaass! Feels so good on my... (nevermind)." :) I have a house full of grass rollers, too. Always sticks in my doodle's fur (but then, so does everything else, too!)

  9. Samson Says: No Spring dance here, I'm in the mud up to my knees. But you sure look pretty doing your dance.

Inger: I just love that header photo. You guys are getting more professional by the day.

  15. Oh Sophie, you can't fool me. You found something that smells really good to you and really gross to the humans and that's what you were rolling around in. And then you turn it around and call it a spring dance so you don't get in trouble for it. And just so you know... I think it's a great idea and I plan on using that one next time for you-know-who ;) your friend, Gracie.

  16. You know, Sophie, Spring affects me the same way! And let me tell you, it's hard getting up off the floor after being down on all fours when you're almost 59 like me!

My standard poodle does the same on snow.

  18. Lovely shots Soph! Except that last one is a bit of a scary face? Hope it scares the last of the cool weather away for you.

  19. I must say that this was the first time I saw Sophie roll around like this!! I think she thought she had died and gone to heaven.....all that dried grass in one spot! That`s all see needed. But Bobbi you could be right too!

  20. Hey Sophie!
Wow, way to twist and shout!! Very cute pix of your wigglin' and stretchin' action! I assume a really great shake ended that action.

  26. Great dance. But I don't think it's working. It's icy and frozen with no signs of a warm up. Better try again.
