'OFF WITH HER HEAD'

Last week in the middle of
MIGRAINE CITY,
Ron took me to Conrad's Beach
to run and just take the edge off.

The clouds were phenomenal
and
as Daddy Ron thinks
was the cause
of Daddy Jim's visual auras.

We found this remnant from an old wharf
which keeps reappearing seasonally
depending upon the wave action.

We really like this spot to sit and think
to ponder life
and
to refresh, rejuvenate and reDOODLE ourselves.

A short video to show you what I do when the clouds descend upon us on the beach.

Over there,
away over there
is my parked car
which will take me home to Jim.

The clouds definitely were breath-taking and somewhat magical,
but if Mother Nature continues
tossing these our way
I'm telling her right now
OFF WITH HER HEAD

  1. An opthamologist who specializes in photophobia, which I have, told me that the glare is worse on a cloudy day than on a sunny day. I've found it to be true. I wonder if the strange glare of a grey day could bring on visual auras.

    Love,
    Janie

    1. You know, this fact could very well be true. It happened that the glare was evident from certain angles and not from others. That certainly doesn't mean the glare wasn't any there doing it's thing. The barometric pressure was 100 for 3 days straight, and this kept popping out at me every time I watched the weather reports. Our Maritime weather is most often cloudy, wet and more wet ~~~ so now that we have found some medication tweeks + Advil gelcaps, well LIFE is a little lighter !

    1. The skies offered absolutely stunning clouds last week. Here I was enjoying taking pictures while poor Jim had to readjust to his new med. increase. Sophie needed a good run and with a double whammy I got pics and she got to dig a hole.

      Bingo Bango Bongo !!!

  9. Oh, off the head! I know that feeling. Hope Jim is doing much better. I also love the clouds but agree with you, Ron, that those systems are quite often what cause the problems.

    2. Not much more I think! I'm so glad that things are much better for you three this week! Maybe you all should come to Colorado after January 1st and try some new meds that will now be legal throughout the state. They help glaucoma patients ~ eyes right! I keep telling the E-P every time we go past a medicinal green shop, that I need a medicinal hit! He always refuses to stop the car. Come January, I'm going to check this new legal industry out! LOL!

  13. The photos are gorgeous-- those clouds are amazing-- but the glare can be disturbing. I'm so sorry Jim has had such a miserable time. I'm crossing my fingers he stays feeling better. I'm with Sophie-- whatever hurts Jim-- needs to go!

    Sending love-

  15. Those clouds, with the sand, the old wharf, and the water - wowzers, they are beautiful. But, if they're making Ron's head go crazy, I am wishing them to go away from you!

Your photography gets better and better.
