In the Wind!!

The wind gusts were ever present and constant

on MacDonald Hill the other day.

My ears show you the intensity of the winds

and for some reason

my attention was riveted to the what was below me.

I should have known that the waters would be covered

with these parasurfers

they know a good thing when they see it

and so do I

A little salad

and a back scratch.
~~~
Aaahhh!
This is my life!
    Have we ever told you your our hero ... you are the wind beneath our ears.
    Wait ...mom says that's not how the song goes ...but she doesn't know that is the canine version played in all the fun dog parks.
    1. Bette Midler, me thinks, would sing a good rendition of that Wind Beneath my Wings song!! But you know, a canine version really needs to be recognized!
      I'll see what my Doodle brain can come up with!!
  20. Hey Sophie!
    I've been catching up on all your posts. It's good to see you back to your old perky self!!!
    I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the ideal that people take cruises to Halifax. Even one of my very close friends here has cruised into Halifax with her husband earlier this year.
    I mean, I know people do go to Halifax on cruise ships ~ but really? Why?
    I actually know the answer! I had to leave Nova Scotia to appreciate how special it is. And the size of those ships!
    You're so sweet Sophie ~ I just know those blog buds of Ron and Jim were secretly coming to see you. And you showed them such a fine time!
    Take care, pretty girl ~ and Hi to those two dads!
