Tibetan Prayer Flags ~~~~~

As I sat perched on my stool
meditating and staring out the window this morning....

I realized that we have Tibetan Prayer flags

fluttering in the wind
off of our deck

offering kind words of
peace
wisdom
strength
and
compassion

Someone special in my life
someone far away
across the country
from me
is gathering strength from the thoughts and words
being spread by my flags

~~~ Namaste ~~~
  2. The more tattered prayer flags become, the more effective they are.
    1. tattered is the right word, Debra and faded as well...meaning the sentiments are being spread over the neighbourhood and off into the atmosphere reaching and searching for the intended person!
    1. Hi Marfa ~~~ I must contemplate every once in awhile so that I can understand this world I live in and share my love to anyone and everyone that needs it. The flags seem to make sense to me right now!!
  8. Sophie, you would cheer anyone up with your sweet love. I'm sure that your Auntie Elaine is feeling your love and prayers floating on the wind to her. Please know, kind doggie, that lots of good thoughts and prayers are winging their way to her from all directions of the globe. I hope you get a chance to chase Mr. Orange on the beach this weekend; and be especially snuggly to your dads!
    1. I just returned from a very quick walk on the boardwalk with Ron ~~~ he put some sunset pictures on FB if you are interested in seeing ~~~ also he saw a flock of birds flying north ~~~ well you know what that means ~~~ SPRING is just around the corner!!
      I do believe Auntie Elaine is feeling all this love and with all this concentration solely on her, she is bound to feel hope and love is finding her!! The bird V-formation seemed to make things seem more hopeful!!!
  11. Auntie Elaine, the prayer flags are winging love,hope, and comfort across the miles to her right now.They are so special, and I think I should make some for here, maybe not Tibetan, but with some hand stitched words on them, perfect project when I am in the tent, and no better place for the stitcheries. Spring, look forward to each day that brings it a little closer, and greetings to all, special ones to your Daddies. from Jean.
  16. The peace, wisdom, strength and compassion being sent from these flags has been multiplied many times over by posting them here on the big web. The love that exudes from that house can be felt all over the globe. And especially by Auntie Elaine.
