Life is coming to a standstill here in Nova Scotia tonight and all weekend.
Do you see that band of clouds on the horizon?
Well, it's the signal that a huge snow storm is arriving on our shores very soon,
in a matter of hours!
(my pre-snow storm jaunt to the beach as we wait patiently)
The amount of snow will be from 20 to 40 cm (7 - 15 inches)
with very high winds blowing all weekend.
Major drifts will result
and also freezing rain and ice pellets on top of this.
Needless to say there will be plenty of waiting
patiently as the roads are cleared.
I have my eye on the horizon and if the weather thinks
it's going to be super tricky with us (like power outages)....well,
it's got another think coming!
