Serenity on My River

"Eye" spy with my little eye....

my favourite place in all of the world
just play my video and you'll see why!

The river was so serene and peaceful.
It's always this way when we visit this side of the river.
It takes a while to walk to this spot,
but it is well worth the hike.

On the return,
 things were about to change as we rounded the corner
on the way back to our car.

~~~
Come back next time and I'll show you
what I ran into!
  2. HI Sophie and your Dads!
    Lovely pictures and what a great colour on the sky.
    We hade some inches snow again last night so spring will be delayed. Next week will also be cold.
    But our dachshunds plays in the snow. Tyra is hungry all the time so hope for many puppies
    1. Winter is still hanging on in Sweden I see. Soon it will get tired and allow spring to come alive again for you. I sure hope Tyra has many puppies, because they are so cute, especially dachshunds!!
      Cheers!
    That side of the river looks so peaceful. Sometimes that is a good thing to spend a little time in a peaceful place- and then return- to where your emotions and feels can race with
    the other side of the river- where the waters dance so fast.
    The photos your dads take are always so beautiful.
    1. Tweedles ~~~ we have been visiting this little oasis/paradise for many years even before Sweet Sophie came to us ~~~~ the bend in the river and the lazy meandering waters lend itself to a very peaceful visit and moment of reflection. We love this place any time of day and have pretty much visited at all hours except the wee ones because it's too far in the dark.
    1. We were blessed with perfect day and we took full advantage of it. Sophie was in 7th Heaven playing in the water and digging holes. But alas as I type the white wintry snowflakes fall effortlessly from the skies and everything is all white again!
    1. Hi Randall
      This beach is located on the eastern shores of Nova Scotia near a surfing beach. It's placement is shielded from large waves and tide surges except for winter when all fury is leveled at his area resulting in new landscape.
      We enjoy this place along with Sophie, my blogging inspiration!
    1. Water is like a magnet!
      At the park, beach, or trails, I'll jump into EVERY pond, stream, or rivulet ~~~ with Ron concerned mainly with the park water that has been standing too long ~~~ bacteria can cause eye/ear/stomach problems ~~~ so he's always avoiding those areas when the water isn't running freely.
      He + Jim do take care of me!!
