  1. At least you aren't wearing a silly Christmas hat! Bear with your dads. Humans are strange about the holiday season. But, the good thing is if you keep giving them puppy eyes you will get more toys!

  7. Sorry all you NON-Canadian followers...apparently CBC-TV videos can't be shown across the invisible borders....too bad because the Xmas fun is over the top funny and corny that even I rolled over....especially Mrs. Enid singing Susan Boyle.....F-U-N-N-Y. So anyhoo...no more CBC videos for the world on my dooodle bloggy....with all this said.... Xmas is still ONE MONTH AWAY!!!!

  13. Poopoo! We can't see the video, Sophie, because we don't live in Canada!
Mom says we have to be extra good so we stay on Santa's "good" list!

    Love ya lots,

  15. This whole internet border...who gets to see what/not was on the news today. Now isn't that great timing.....this post is a pure example of countries preventing other countries from not viewing [in this case a video] unless they follow the rules...and then you won't see it.
The cyber world is on the verge of being controlled soon and countries are exerting their home pressure to close borders! Here in Canada...the CRTC-Canadian Radio Telecommunications Corp.... controls so much and I believe that's why you can't LAUGH this morning!

  16. Booohooo, can´t see it either. Ha, but I know it´s funny, because you Sophie looks reaaaaaally "oh my good God" at this pic. *lolz*

Be patient, Sophie: there is no Santa-Mützchen and there is no Rentierhaarreif (sorry I coudn´t find a translation for that :P) That has to count for something, right??? *bwahahahaha*

    1. Santa Claus...and Reindeer....THEY DO EXIST....You just have to BELIEVE!

  17. *heheh* Yes, but I meant a Santa-hat and a reindeer-Alice-band for Sophie... *gggg*

Oh and they do exist... My Mom told me that with sunset in orange/red in time of advent, the little Angels are baking cookies and Santa is watching them, so nothing would burn. *hehehe* I believed that, as a child... A really good time :))) *lol*

    1. Oh I see Alex....we will believe anything from our parents at Xmas. Besides everything angelic and sweet(as in cookies) are worth believing in!

  18. Okay, Sophie, I confess I laughed out loud at that video. Just humour Ron and this too shall pass :) By the way, I do love your "hard done by" expression. That would melt any heart, even those who claim they are indifferent to dogs. Do such people really exist?

    1. YEAH....you saw the video....Sorry to all those who can't view my slightly crazy world! Sophie is at her best by looking "helpless" or "forlorn" when she wants out of a situation and can't go immediately. TOUGH LIFE, Miss Sophie!

    1. I hear ya, Ryker....my life is always listening to the "what ifs"...what if you sulk?...what if you pout? I have so many days to work on this, don't I !

  20. I couldn't see the video, nor could I find it on You Tube! You introduced me to Mrs. Enid, and she is a hoot. While looking for the Christmas video, I found a short funny one on Mrs. Enid and Pamela Anderson. Somehow it skipped my notice that she is Canadian!

Just hang in there, Sophie, and be glad that your Dad Ron has a sense of humor! Just keep looking at him with those sweet, soulful eyes. Maybe he'll give you extra treats or a fun new toy. Or at the least a belly rub or a scratch behind the ears - What do you like Sophie?

Speaking of Pamela Anderson, did you see the finale of Dancing With the Stars last night? I was jumping all around the room when Melissa and Tony won! I have been voting for Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani all this season and in 2009. I drive my husband crazy when I always vote for Tony Dovolani. He says that's not fair! Ha! Tony is just so darn cute, a super teacher, completely nice, and an amazing dancer.

    Have a good one!

    1. I know what you mean about the videos...turns out they are CBC TV videos and they apparently aren't viewable over the border....I promise NOT to use them again. So that means Canadian humour content will be non-existent on my doggy blog. Oh C-A-N-A-D-A....we don't stand on guard for theee.........!

DWTS...I was routing for Kelly Monaco because of GH...and the sexy brothers' combo including Kirstie Allie. The boys are so full of themselves but cute though. I was amazed at Derek Hough's emotional moment, almost crying. I had no idea he was having a hard time this year other than the neck problem...more to this me thinks!

Pam Anderson is so weird...such a squirmer!

  21. I think so too (about Derek). Kelly really wanted it. All of them wanted to win. I'm just so glad Tony won after 14 seasons! I'm wondering what really was going on between Val and Kelly. As for Pam, well I'm embarrassed she's Canadian. Her posturing drives me crazy. It's almost automatic with no feeling. Have a good one!

  23. Hi Y'all,

My Humans found the Christmas music on the radio BEFORE Thanksgiving this year. That is before the U.S. Thanksgiving...very, very early. Sigh...We are planning a quiet Christmas this year.

    Y'all come by now,
