JE SUIS SOPHIE DOODLE

Life can be an upward struggle
one foot ahead of another and another and another in my case.

Keeping your eye on the goal
and
never wavering

reaching my beach
my goal
and

feeling Mother Nature's super fresh breezes
with
rumbling and rolling surf ~

no matter what day it is

as is the case
in these two days of beachcombing

My view reaches far out over the waters
over the Atlantic
to my French friends
who are sad and mourning at this time.

  3. Those waves are hypnotic, Ron! Thanks for your gentle words to the French. It's incomprehensible to me that people can commit such acts and think they are religious acts. The best thing we can do is live our lives normally and refuse to be cowed. My thoughts and prayers are with the French too. Take care! And belly rubs to sweet Sophie for bringing me a peaceful smile this morning!

  5. Sophie, down here I am also thinking of the latest atrocity, mindless, thoughtless, cruel, barbaric and more. Those who died, were injured, or those who survived, so many lives and families lives changed forever.World peace seems to be a dream that will not happen, let us all be strong wherever we live. Hugs to all in your place , from Jean.

    1. Many thanks Jean ~~~ the world strives for global peace but there's always someone/s that just manage to fall off the cart. I suspect this will always happen so if we can spread love and good feelings maybe someone/s will benefit from them and we will have won this round!

  9. Tu es.
If everyone could experience such beauty, there truly could be no atrocities such as that in France.
Maybe it's a lot like here where the rumbling waves have been replaced with frozen crackling and crashing. It's enough to put anyone over the edge.

Your photos show that beauty so vividly.
