SUPER ENERGIZED

The moment I set my 4 paws on the beach today

the energy was palpable

surfers in the water
air 'peeps' flying overhead in helicopters

this got me all invigorated

Gees, how do they do that?
Must be balance
and
good luck.

OK, someone has lost their board.

Looks like someone is going to lose their board here too.

Body language and spray

I am entranced again with something.
I'll have it figured out before I leave this beach.

Continuous onslaught of perfect wave action.
It's September in Nova Scotia.

Yes, the tide was out, far out
but that doesn't stop nature's
little bit of yin and yang.

  1. Do you get a lot of wind and waves? Or is it that one particular beach?

    1. Every beach has it's own mini-world happening ~~ this beach is well-know in the surfing world as #3 best surfing beach on the east coast of North America, that is USA and Canada. The waves pound the shores if the full moon is happening which it is right now. The season is changing so that affects the water and waves. If a beach is somewhat sheltered them different things happen which can cause protected environments etc. That is what is so cool about our province it is 95% surrounded in water thus many beaches and all types.

Hope that helps a bit in understanding our world!

    1. It looked like it was either in practice mode or "showing someone around" mode. They get to darn close for my liking, but this beach always has the gawkers!!

  8. Gorgeous photos, Ron! Those waves with their flying spray! And surfers! My kind of day at the beach ~ far more exciting than calm water! I was looking for a photo of you bodysurfing, SophieDudette! I've got my new bosu ball pumped up, and I'm practicing my balancing skills. I'm working on going from a kneeling balance to standing up and balancing. Talk about a workout! Getting ready for my next trip to Waikiki whenever that happens. Have a good weekend!

    1. It's important to keep your core strong these days as we grow older. I'm a bad boy you know, I taught fitness for years and know all these fitness facts but do you think I'm in shape, nope, nada.

Maybe your keenness will inspire me to smarten up.

      Winkers!
