B & W Moment

This photo almost appeared to be a B & W
as Jim and I were strolling the lawn around
The Hydrostone Park.

So Daddy Ron decided to make them all B & W.

A new and interesting view of my Doodle World has emerged.

Hi Jim, I like these lines.

Are we getting close to the bakery?

Phew ~~~ I'm back
with a little colour in my cheeks !!

  2. Some shots really suit B&W and these certainly do. But it was nice, at the end, to see Sophie back in full living colour!

    1. The lines became more obvious with the B & W. The colour version wasn't quite the same.

  4. B&W, that was how I began taking photos, a Kodak 120, how we have progressed, and lines, all a valuable part of our maturity. love the colour one, great to see that beautiful green grass. Cheers from Jean.

    1. Isn't B & W a great change ~~~ it's easier on the eyes, I think!

Sophie told me she is OK with it, but colour brings out her highlights better!

  8. Almost all of my childhood photos are black and white! That certainly says something about my age :)

But I do like black and white photography. It makes for beautiful images!

  12. I think black and white snaps allow you to focus more on the content of the picture and you notice details such as expressions a lot more. Colour is nice but monochrome makes you look more closely.
