SURROUNDED !?!

Yes, this particular morning we were surrounded ~~

completely girdled, almost smothered, in fog.

Even across the road from the main beach
you normally can see the lake,

but it wasn't about to happen
because the air temp was just spot on to produce all this fog.

Hey, catch up!
I'm all the way down here!

Nothing like catching some moody pictures
especially when  SNOWY OWL X 2 are over there
hiding in this eerie 'Hitchcockian' fog.

BWAH HAH HAH HAAAA!!
( "it's a little creepy with the fog and all" says Kathleen Quinlan)

  2. Hey SD! I knew the moment I saw the first photo what was surrounding you. I thought I'd sneak in a peak at your post while my baked potatoes finished cooking! For sure, I'm going to be back to see the video clip! Later gator!

  3. Snowy Owls! How cool! (I clicked on your link). I've never seen one in the wild.
We are worried about our Great Horned Owls. We've had a breeding pair for years, but I haven't heard them call for months.

    1. Yes, we discovered these 2 cuties a couple months ago and were worried that all the investigation by peeps might scare them off. They are 2 beautiful birds!!

    1. I suspect the owls will be flying away. They go up north this time of year.

That's OK, though ~~ they know best!!

  11. Hi Y'all!

We get lots of fog in these parts, but in the early spring. It's really to hot now for much fog. We might find some when we go back up in the mountains.

    Y'all come by now,
